....Jerry is on pain meds from the hip surgery ---> Leans to Stephen and says....Bring Back T.O.

"And Stephen, if he's too busy with his reality show, call Moss`s representatives and ask where we need to send the plane...oh wait, Jason just whispered to me...nevermind. I knew I shouldn`t have ceded so much control to that red headed......

I don't post often. Wondering if any of the regulars or experts thought we might try to trade for a wideout. Possibly another Laurent Robinson out there? Any speculation on some trade possibilities?

Great comeback win...bad news on the injury front :banghead:

GO COWBOYS!!!!

The Cowboys had 356 yards passing which is 2nd for week 1. Dez only had 48 yards.

I'm expecting some kind of front office move for another WR. I don't think that it will be a trade though. The name that I have in my head right now is Ryan Broyles.

I was thinking the same thing, maybe bringing Jenkins back (if available) since his contract wouldn't be guaranteed.

I would go with what we have
Activate our other RB in dez place use Dunbar like we did last night
Work lucky in to take the top off the D and tear them up underneath with Beasley, Dunbar and Williams
If you bring in a reciever you have to cut a player
Not worth it to me just ride with what we have

This is going to be a tough stretch with TWill being the #1. Instead of trading for a WR, I would re-tool the passing plays, maybe even some no-huddle mixed in.

I don't think it will be pretty using the same plays and milking the clock to zero every play, they have to cater to a different offense for the time being.

It would be interesting to see Dunbar behind Clutts in the "I", then have Dunbar shift out wide or to the slot, then use Clutts as a HB with the defense spread out. Do it again in the next series, this time being a play action to Clutts and throw it over the middle to Escobar.

Another thought is some more pick/rub plays for Dunbar/Beasly in the slot.

There
Calm down. He's out until the bye, not forced into early retirement. The offense was moving along just fine without him. They even started holding onto the ball.

There is no guarantee Dez will be ready for the next Giants game after the bye. I've seen a report where they think this could be more of a 8-12 week injury just depends on how that bone heals.

Trust me as a 76er fan waiting on Joel Embiid to get back I wouldn't just assume he's back after the bye week. We need to look at adding a Veteran Receiver that knows what he's doing out there.

Does Randy Moss have anything left in the tank?

Randy Moss was a physical freak of nature but he was never a good route runner. Tony Romo would hate having a guy being a receiver if he had no idea where Moss was running to. Romo needs precision routes run from his receivers to be effective. Moss was never a good route runner. Not a good fit in Dallas.

I like the idea of signing Jenkins. I also like the idea of lots of three TE sets. Get Swaim on the field! He's basically a huge WR.

no. Dallas is already down a pick for Michael. The draft pick they get for losing Murray will be offset by draft pick they give up for Hardy. What needs to happen is WRs and RBs need to step up. They do it all the time up there in GB and NE when someone goes down.

speaking of which I probably put Escobar in WR formations with Witten as true TE. Dallas will still be throwing a very capable receiving group out there. Most teams don't have luxury of a Dez and survive just fine.
