as a FB....Did he play that position in college or was he more of a H-back/TE. How did he look in preseason?

what do you think about chapas?

MOD CAN YOU EDIT TITLE I MEANT TO SPELL SHAUN CHAPAS.

also how has Henry Hynoski (who went undrafted) looked for the G-Men. I wanted henry in the draft but we opted for chapas. I haven't really kept up with henry since the draft.

He was an average blocking back in college. Nothing special but he had great intangibles for leadership and effort. Smart player with some strength. He is not an ideal lead blocker at the NFL level at this time. Vision and not effort is the issue.

Wish I had better news for you.

thanks

do anyone know why we passed on henry? i thought he was a better (one of the best) pure run blocking FB in the draft.

Chapas is an effort guy with high character, but is considered a finesse blocker.

If Lousake Polite is available he needs to be brought in. I wonder is Lorenzo Neal can still play. Now that guy could blast holes big enough for trucks to drive through. Only been out of the league 2 seasons I believe. LT was not the same when Neal was not re-signed by Chargers.
