the guy we should be trading for is Vaccarro,we can get him for a 5th rd pick and we still have control for 3 more years.

I think it would just be two more. Just guessing, but it makes more sense unless it is the original team with the contract, the extra option year does not exist.

They restructured it with in the last couple of days.

That probably just provides temporary relief for them by pushing out the money.

I have not been paying a lot of attention to that, but if they restructured it to where it was team friendly, why would they bother to shop him? It is not like they have a replacement on the roster right now.

This guy is 258 pounds. Can he even play DE in a 43?

He could if he were special. You could overlook the weight thing. But this is not a special player. This is a piece they overpaid and are now looking to get rid of.

Why did they trade jimmy graham ? Or Kenny stills for a 5th ? I don't know either . But this guy is what we need desperately and he isn't paid a huge salary . Had 10 sacks and 2 safeties last season.

Graham was a salary dump. Stills was more because supposedly Brees had a problem with him and he was marketable.

They were talking about dumping him even before he agreed to the restructure. He also has a domestic violence thing going on.

That should tell you what you need to know.

theyve been making some questionable moves they also let Ben Grubbs go for a 5th or 6th. I just think if you have an opportunity to get a guy who produces double digit sacks (at a bargain price) you get him.

Trading a 30 year old guard earning a lot of money for a fifth round pick?

I wish Jerry Jones was able to do that a few years ago.

That's considered the prime age for an offensive lineman. Andy Reid knows OL he played that position his entire life. The Chiefs definitely got the better end of the deal.

I'd give them Escobar & a 2016 undisclosed pick based on performance ranging from a 3rd to a 5th

They would take an additional 12m cap if they traded him for a total of 16.2m this year

They only have 2m in space. It would almost be impossible to pull this off and amazingly dumb since they just restructured 12.5m of his salary on March 9th. This must be an old report.

If Greg Hardy is considered radioactive, and he's a free agent, why would anyone trade for a lesser player in Galette, who also has a domestic violence issue, has an existing contract of decent money, and would require forfeiting draft picks? Makes no sense.

You would give a player and a pick for the privilege of taking on a bad contract and he has a domestic issue hanging over his head?

My. We are getting desperate for a pass rusher.

I understand. But not to this degree.

Exactly.

If anyone falls for this, they clearly have not done any research.
