He would complement Dez Bryant and help bring more speed/consistency to this offense.

Thoughts?

Besides the fact that he's reportedly about to be a 49er, that would be a terrible use of resources.

Let's sign him right after we sign Dez and then go after Macklin hard and lock him up

No. He plays on the wrong side of the ball for one thing. We need to upgrade the talent on defense. If we wanted to at a WR just draft one. It would be cheaper.

Mike Wallace is faster, sucks more, and will want overpaid more, maybe they should go after him.

I actually like Torrey Smith, more of 1B receiver than true #1. Last year he dealt with a lot of bracket coverage hence why Smith had a pretty good year for an old guy. He would be awesome with Dez opposite of him but he would cost a lot he is probably getting low #1 money. I feel sorry for him he played with Flacco and now goes and plays with Kaeper"int"

Can you imagine all the free agency threads we Cowboy fans would be subjected to if there were no salary cap in the NFL?

I guess that is one unintended benefit of the salary cap.:)

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I think he would be a really good fit in this offense, especially opposite Dez. The fact that he's never really played in an offense with any weapons around him and has had Flacco throwing the football has held him back a bit, but he could thrive here.

Having said that, he'll be too expensive.
