Morris is a true pro and an awesome human being.

He looked great today and his experience helped on a tough running day!

He was patient and you could tell he took most of the first team snaps in training camp, he knows the OL well now and how to run behind them accordingly!

He basically took almost all the first team reps with Zeke, Darren (out) and Dunbar being eased in the mix.

I understand wanting to get Zeke touches, but at some point it should have been apparent that Morris was being more productive. It's about winning games, this isn't pre-season, these games count......

Morris should have started the game if the overall goal was to run the ball. Morris has more patience and at this point can read his blocking better. Zeke should have spelled him. If we would have called more passes to Zeke I would agree he should have started, but the fact is Zeke didn't appear to be part of the passing offense. I recall one screen pass that we threw to him and that didn't work as he got held up by the Giants D-line.

I think Zeke will be fine, but there was a night and day difference between the two.

One was patient and the other was putting his head down and hoping for the best.
Zeke will need to adjust to the speed and size of the NFL, doesn't matter if he is an easy position to adjust to the NFL. It's his second time playing against NFLers.
Losing that PS time hurt him, short term.

The coaching staff has to do a better job. Morris was the hot hand I thought they would have kept feeding him. Plus Dunbar looked good on his only touch. They should sub the running backs more.

Morris should have gotten the majority of the carries. You make that change ... even on Madden.

It's pretty simply....Morris had the hot hand and as a coach you need to SEE that and keep him on the field. Force feeding Elliott in the 2nd half was dumb. Asking Dak to throw 45 x was dumb as well. This is bad coaching.

Agreed, Morris deserves more carries. It was obvious the Giants committed to stopping the run and Elliott had very little room to run, but Morris seemed to find the holes better today.

Agreed. I don't know why Garrett didn't use him more after it was apparent that Zeke wasn't gaining much.

I thought he was our most effective running back, that's must be why he only got 7 carries...the coaching on this team is baffling ... I know Elliot was the 4th overall pick but it looked like Morris would have been able to run and take some pressure off Dak.

Morris spelled out that he was used to running against the Giants. Not sure I necessarily buy that, but it is something to think about. It also does not help that Elliott got a grand total of what, a quarter behind the starting line in Seattle?

Alfred needs to be a starter and let Elliot earn his spot.. like what the hell is Garrett thinking.. we all want Ezekiel to succeed and be the next Barry Sanders or w/e.. but CHRIST I HATE THIS COACHING STAFF.. 0 creativity 0 courage
