Well, I guess he is going back and forth with his decision. Should he take more money or should he stay at his home town. Or they all still bidding on him.

He ain't signing here. There isn't much left out there. Our counter parts are adding pieces yet we are adding castoffs. There is not direction with this club now or for the future. I'm sorry but I still fail to see JGs vision for this club. What have a bunch of backups on defense as starters and a 34 year old QB coming off back surgery? Geez man I could see the direction if they signed a couple of solid starters and drafted a QB and defense in the draft. But there is no direction and JG is an absolutely failure of a coach and the old man is on board with tanking this franchise down. Hey JJ you have a chance to draft the QB for the next 12 years and your letting the trainee show no direction. SMH

This is seriously worst post of the year nomination worthy.

Why even schedule a visit with Melton and then say "nothing is in the works?" My guess is the price is too high, and the same will hold true tomorrow with Jared Allen. Another possibility is Melton is going to take his time and mull over the offers from the Vikings and Seahawks before deciding whether or not he wants to sign here.

More like fed up with the status quo and hitching our team to a 34 year old QB coming off surgery and a HC with no vision and a GM that insists on bringing guys who haven't amounted to much with the likes of the Jags. If you thought the defense was bad last year just wait. Also it's no coincidence that Romo had what the worst YPC of his career last year? He couldn't throw the ball deep. Sorry still not seeing the direction of the club for the present or the future except staying under the cap. If that makes me "mad" or nominated for the worst post of the year so be it.

Don't see how but whatever floats your dingy

Because I can't fathom how people are still pissing and moaning about us not signing high profile free agents when:

1) They're mostly too old
2) They're getting far more money than we have
3) They're getting more money than they're worth
4) For once we seem to be learning from our mistakes.

But lo and behold, the armchair GM's around here who are crying because we can't sign anyone this year STILL want to mortgage us even further by signing bug name guys. It's ignorant, redundant and embarrassing.

Who exactly were we supposed to have picked up this year to groom as Romo's replacement? Good lord man, the draft hasn't even happened yet, wait till then to start the suicide watch at least.

Furthermore, you may not agree with it, but don't act like they haven't addressed it because they just signed Weeden.

But please all knowing cyber GM, tell us the moves you would have made that would have us looking so much better given this offseason's circumstances...

A 27 year old player is not old. I don't care if you don't like the moaning. I'm not here to please you. Obviously you're cool with signing 30 year old jags

Im cool with not mortgaging our future on aging/injured players. It's hilarious you call out Jerry for his bad decisions but then whine when he finally learns from them.

Also, if you're referring to Melton, I was under the impression he hadn't signed anywhere yet... Overreact much? Dumb question...

Thank You. Every analyst has said these FA players are getting way too much money and that teams are making mistakes, and now that the Cowboys are trying to learn from past mistakes people still want to ***** & moan. I'd rather they just draft young players and focus on the future instead of delaying the inevitable, if Jerry had done this 3-4yrs ago we would be in great shape now.

But Melton is the key to the Superbowl for us!

Sounds good on paper. But the instant gratification society we live in doesn't believe in patience.
