With this injury and arrest, he isnt in a posistion to insist on that boat load of guaranteed money. Or he wouldve been signed already for that kind of money.

Well, here's my thinking...If my agent can't get me the money I expect then why not just go ahead and take the Seahawks money and play for a champion not an average team in Texas. I'm just saying if the money's close, he's going to a team that can get a superbowl and that ain't us...

DWare got 30mil from Denver with 20 guaranteed and 12.5 the 1st year. That's for 3 years and Allen is the same age with the same sack history. Don't bet on it.

Floyd is a 1 tech and Melton is a 3 tech, so one would not get benched for the other unless Minnesota has no idea what they are doing.................which is possible.............LOL

Ware plays DE, and has the most sacks in the nfl since 2005. Comparing Wares contract to Meltons is like apples and oranges

Meltons agent isnt stupid, they know Dallas cant offer him anything over the top. If the seahawks offered anything ballpark he wouldve signed. IMO they tried to lowball him and he walked.

Well, he might sign tonight but most are not going to be happy tomorrow when they hear the particulars. If you think he's going to sign a mid-level contract then I have some goat land in west Texas I'd like to sell you. There are 3 maybe more teams all vying for his services and his agent is going to milk the teat for all it can bear. Just watch and see. For a great rotation. They see floyd as a 3 tech, well they did, be interesting to see what zimmer thinks but signing Joseph leads me to think still 3 tech in floyds future

I'm sort of against signing him mainly becuz we need young guys who are ready to play complete games where possible.

I don't like guys with injury issues already.

We just got rid of Spencer and Ratliff and Ware for those very issues.
