Sorry to ask this, but has anyone heard of the outcome of ABC's meetings concerning the broadcast of the Dallas/Wash. game in it's entirety for us folks in New York. I talked with WTEN's program manager on Tuesday, here in Albany, and she said that ABC was in the process of coming up with a plan to show the entire game. She said that the outcry from Dallas and Washington fans here in upstate New York was overwelming and that she would contact me as soon as she knew...but this waiting is killing me!!!! :bang2:

Current plans seem to be to move the NY/NO game to ESPN when the normal MNF game is supposed to come on.

New York people should get a grip and be happy they are getting an unfair advantage on every other team in the NFL cause of this scheduling issue.

Relax...I was born in Dallas, raised in Texas and New Mexico, have been a diehard since Staubach and am the only person in my neighborhood that at 2:00am was seen running in his underwear down the street chasing his satellite dish during a tornado...just to see his 'boys play!!!

Just because I live in NY does not mean that I should be happy that the Giants are getting an unfair advantage.

Obviously, being here, I am a Cowboy fan, and have been my whole life.

The outcry is not from Giants fans, but from Cowboy fans who happen to live in NY.

It was looking like we were going to get shafted out of the Dallas game. How is that ANYTHING to be happy about?

I thought ESPN was going to carry the start of the Dallas game until NJ and NO is over, then we move over to ABC?

I dont care what channel its on, as long as I see it in its entirety

I know, what was that guy talking about? Talk about missing the point COMPLETELY. I live in NJ and I'm praying that ESPN will show the beginning of the Cowboys game while the Giants game is being played/finishing up on ABC. Just being able to watch the final quarter of the Cowboys game would be a nightmare. They need to straighten this out. :bang2:

I put in some calls to the NFL public relations office last week and they assured me there would be a plan in place before the game where we in NY would see the game in it's entirety.

Then I posted some rumblings on my home page, parcellsguys.com, for the last three days and I got an email today as a response. They told me the issue would be resolved by this coming Monday Night and the solution would be announced during the Eagles/Falcons game.

The NFL is usually very good about "doing the right thing", but in this case I think they jumped the gun and saw an opportunity to use the Saints/Giants game to draw attention to MNF for an extra hour and a half.

Thanks for the info. I couldn't believe I was going to miss the Triplets induction and more importantly the damn game. If you hear anything else, please post it.

If you did not read or hear it.
The Giants vs Saints will start on ABC at 7:30.
Then at 9:00pm shift to ESPN.
We start at 9:00pm regular game night. ABC.

I think the issue is with those of us who live in NY (or more correctly those of us who get the ABC network in NY city). The original announcement stated it would switch to Cowboys-Commanders at 9PM in the rest of the country but not in NY or the Gulf Coast.

In NY and the New Orleans area, they would rejoin the Cowboys-Commanders when the Saints-Giants game was over.

The only people who have a problem are those in the Giants and Saints blackout area...like me.

Excuse me, that is pretty rude and odd I may say too because dont you think someone in NY asking about it on this board is concerned because they are a Cowboys fan in NY? There are plenty of Cowboy fans on NY.
