ive heard of QBs begging the coach to go for it on 4 and 1/goal and such but telling your coach how to do his job? its clear to me the players dont really respect him.

It's just a joke. He has no credibility with the team and Romo even thinking of telling a coach what to do suggests Wade is a pushover.

lol yeah i once tried to tell my coach what he should have done in little league...i never even thought about telling a coach what to do again after that mondays practice:

The offending players were the two RBs on that timeout play. One of them thought was running in while the other was in the huddle, giving the chance of a penalty... Romo handled it well

I heard him say it and to me, it didn't sound like it was a tell Wade what to do, it was more like an unsure ask if we're doing a FG.

i could be wrong but i heard something to the effect of "fieldgoal! we gotta kick a fieldgoal, if we do that will put the game..." and then the broadcast cut to something else but like i said i could be wrong.

If you could be wrong and it was only something to that effect that you might have heard, then how's it clear to you that the players don't respect the coach?

i don't think I'm wrong I'm just acknowledging that i could be...something most posters here wouldn't dream of admitting.

yes it is "to the effect of" cause i admit i cant recall it verbatim but when i heard it i was like wth? you don't tell your coach what to do.

It would have been totally stupid to try to kick a 56 yard FG in that situation. So, I am glad Wade didn't listen to Romo for once.

Yeah, not to mention he shanked a 40 yarder earlier in the game. Really shanked it.

like i said it didn't sound like he asked, he told him to kick a field goal. you don't tell your coach what to do.ever. it shows you don't respect him as a superior or have confidence that he is making the best decision for the team.

yeah you can disagree you may even be able to get away with/be justified in yelling at or arguing with him on the sideline after the fact but you don't tell him what to do. anybody thats played organized sports knows this
