Anybody Else Worried We Are Going To Get Hosed On Calls Next Week?

With all the social media saying that the refs "gifted wrapped" the game for us, I am really starting to get worried that the refs next week are going to call every tick tack thing on us to prove there is no favoritism for Dallas.

I have even seen some websites bring up the story of the VP of Officiating being on Jerry's bus as proof that Jerry "bought a win".

I think its all total crap, but cant say that I am not worried that the NFL and the refs next week will want to show that there is no favoritism and we are going to get called for everything. Maybe I am just being paranoid, its late.

Maybe for (2) reasons

1-Packers are the lil darlings of the NFL (especially at Lambeau)

B-Yep, officials will show they "aren't" biased by being overly one sided lol

Not at all. I don't buy the refs picking the winner. There were missed /bad calls both ways yesterday, just like every game.

I don't believe that the referees will decide next week's game. The game will be won by the team who plays the best when it matters.

While I definitely think that yesterday's call was a gift, there was still plenty of time left in the game, and the Lions had the lead. The refs didn't cause Sam Martin to shank a 10 yard punt. The refs didnt cause Jason Witten running a terrific route to get open on fourth and six. The refs didn't make DeAndre Levy and Darius Slay commit defensive holding penalties to keep the drive alive. The refs didn't give Romo a year and a half in pass protection to throw the winning touchdown pass.

The Lions also got a gift fumble recovery when Lawrence lost his mind, and still couldn't make it count. While the call was terrible, and definitely swung momentum, the Lions did nothing to win the game from that point onward. In fact, they were their own worst enemies.

Ultimately, that is why they lost.

And, next week, the game will be won/lost by the teams on the field, not the officials.

Even if that call stands there is no guarantee they score anyway. I saw the best kicker in the league miss a chip shot. The Lions scored 3 points in the second half and that was one play. We even gave them life on the first sack fumble. Almost every fan thinks their team gets screwed every week. The NFL might want to reconsider their "all-star" crews.

We'll be fine.

I assure you. This team will not be leaving a game pointing to an iffy non-call on a PI with 9 minutes to go as the reason we lost. That's ridiculous.

Not really. The last thing any ref is going to want next week is more scrutiny.

Yes, I worry about it all the time. Dallas will get hosed and one bad call will determine the outcome of the game. :p

Detroit would've had one less TD if they didn't throw that roughing the kicker flag. Bad calls were made throughout that game, including the one that wasn't made on Jones' punt.

The league just needs a crew in the game the works together all the time unlike the BS we saw Sunday.

What you have to remember is that there is no middle ground when it come to the Cowboys. You either love 'em or you hate 'em. I was listening to people call in on SIRIUS NFL radio this morning and they would start off by saying they didn't have a dog in the fight (in an effort to make it sound like they were unbiased), and then, with great passion, go off on how the Cowboys shouldn't have won the game due to one official's call. Even Bob Papa, one of the hosts of the show, would bash Cowboys supporter saying that they were Cowboys fans and were, therefore biased, but he is a Giants fan, so what does that make him? Like I said, there are fans and haters, and not much in between. They can all kiss my ***. My team won the game and will be playing next Sunday. End of story.
