Anybody going to the Cowboys Draft Party this sat?

I just saw a commercial for the Cowboys draft party at the Arlington Convention Center for this sat between 1-7pm. It said free parking and entry, so I was wondering has anybody been to this draft party before? If so, is it worth it to go? What all do you do, just watch a big screen to see who the Cowboys select?

I went the year we drafted JJ, i was only 18 and they thought i was 21, so i got to drink,:beer1: it was fun. It was at Gilleys in Dallas. Desperados Dancers were there, Cowboy Cheerleader, Dat Nguyen, Lots more players. I had a great time with all my buds, until we passed on Stephen Jackson and didnt even take anyone in the first round.

So what do people do at the party, is there a big screen and everybody watches the draft selections on the screen?

There were TV's everywhere with 1 big screen. The desperados and cheerleaders did lots of dances onstage, the players all talked and did autograph sessions. There was a coach or two there that talked. It was a good time.

Living in Florida, all I can do is dream about going. If somebody does decide to go, please provide a recap with as many details as you can remember. Sure like to know what players showed up, etc. Frankly just being there surrounded by so many fellow Cowboy fans would just be great for me. You don't know how I envy those of you who have the chance to go. I'ts probably the kind of experience you'll remember for years -- particularly if we have a good draft.

Actually, it's free and anyone gets to go, but I get to rub shoulders in the VIP area.
