I know there are those who could care less and then there are those who care and then those who have started to pay attention to how these subtle jabs work. Once you know what to look for it will jump out of the televisions at you. So--

Just before kickoff, the network lead in promo to the Divisional Playoff game between New England and Baltimore opened with dramatic music with a VO (voice over) featuring moments from memorable Divisional games like the Music City Miracle.

Then, they expanded the highlights to playoff games - every shot was a playoff game. The Cowboys were part of three highlights. They were--

From the Divisional Game Highlights - Romo's botched snap.
From the Playoff Highlights - The Catch
One more highlight from the Playoffs - Roger Staubach on the sidelines with a towel over his head after a concussion.

Yes, the team with the most playoff wins of anybody in the NFL got those three shots, all three crushing Cowboy moments, not unexpected from NBC. But here' the best thing about it.

The Roger highlight is from a REGULAR SEASON game when he was knocked out by the Commanders on Thanksgiving Day. That's the Clint Longley game. It was the ONLY highlight that wasn't a playoff highlight.

Then I noticed on NBC's Pro Football Talk Twitter Mike Florio was getting hammered for writing an article today on Bart Scott saying something's fishy with the NFL after the Detroit call (yawn). NBC at it's finest and still mad because the Giants and Eli are out of it.

Whether it sports or other reporting NBC like the " negative sells" approach.....

The point was the expression is I could not care less. Meaning I care as little as I am humanly possible. People make this mistake all the time. Because if i could care less that means I do care.

FYI, I don't care.

You care enough to comment in a thread about ones opinion on it. :)

Again, sometimes I don't think the people complaining about people complaining notice irony well.

Here's the story on the 7 missed calls...

http://www.mlive.com/lions/index.ssf/2015/01/report_nfl_tells_dallas_cowboy.html

The last line is pretty funny...

These communications typically remain private, but given the magnitude of a playoff contest, and the impact these blunders had in the outcome of the game, some of information has leaked this week.

Who do you think "leaked" the League copping to the missed calls against Hitchens and Leary in the first place?

I don't give a crap what NBC does or says, but the media's sudden obsession over missed calls irks me for some reason.

bottom line...there is no real media bias...if you win...you get glory...you lose....you don't. This is why they play the game....

It ain't just NBC. Wait til Joe Buck says something along the lines of "...the play that allowed the Cowboys to get to this game..." (in his I want my hand in Troy's pants voice) in reference to the non-PI call. Who cares. We get no due and it means a hill o beans to me. Screw 'em all. All that crap will make winning the SB all the sweeter...

Can I preemptively lament how:
The Cowboys won but those media are saying it's because Rodgers was hurt, this is an insult!

The Cowboys lost and now all the highlights are brave, brave Rodgers doing it while battling through injury, it's an insult!

Again, sometimes I don't think the people complaining about people complaining notice irony well.

There are 75 threads a week here about perceived slights and disrespect by the media. How many threads about complaining fans are there? Nothing ironic about it.

Check out any other team's forum, and you'll see countless threads from all of them about how biased the media is FOR the Cowboys. A little perspective goes a long way.

We won. We aren't getting the glory after the game. They are downplaying our win by blaming it on a no call.

That's the point of this thread.

There is irony. Others complaining about complaints=irony
Sorry, that can't really be disputed by opinion.

I pointed out how in this instance your comment "win and get the glory". Was wrong.

I never said anything about getting glory, winning is what matters.

But don't let me unbunch your panties. Some people get off on the slights, real or imagined. Whatever makes you happy as a fan.

The poster I replied to did. That is the one you commented on.
You're not bunching my panties honey. I'm fine:)

Sorry. His comment. I assumed it was the guy I replied to.
