So, I say unto you, again, St. Jerra, DO ALL YOU CAN TO GET THIS YOUNG MAN DRAFTED BY US IN THE 1ST ROUND!

Package some aging vets and offer next year's No. 1.
Offer our No. 1 this spring plus a third rounder and a 4th rounder.
Offer half of your gas and awl interests, Jerra (I love to play with others' money), do something, anything to edge up into the top 5 in this year's draft.

This offer won't last long, Jerra! The NFL scouts are hungering for this prototypical Q
B from Central Florida State. See what he did to Baylor.

Now I will half breakfast and await what the Forum roughians say.

REMEMBER TO NOT FORGET; The man known as Oh, No Tony Romo will be 34 years old this spring. Yeah, aging and a injured and rehabbing choker. Bad combination.

Yeah, lets blow our first round pick on the one position we don't need.

We don't need the QB position. An injured choker coming back from surgery who will be 34 soon?

You really don't belief in the future, huh?
Let's invest all we half NOW to win a Super Bowl with Oh No, right? Yeah, that will work!

Let's quit going down that path of 8-8 with a QB that is incapable of winning more than 1 playoff career game. Great individual stats, yes, but that will look pretty only in his scrapbook.

You make me so mad!!!!!

Those numbers were a bit inflated, two of those touchdowns were completed on bubble screens that WRs took to the house. Not that I don't like Bortles, but those numbers aren't all that accurate of how he played.

And Romo's interceptions at the worst times weren't really interceptions and the games we lost by his hand were not really important. And, too, Romo's numbers are greatly inflated by dinky passes to Witten and . . . .

oh, you, too make me so mad!!!!

Watched three of his games this weekend then went and saw him live yesterday. He is the real deal. I don't think we should draft a QB early this year, too many other holes, but you simply can not pass on him if he slipped to 16/17.

I don't think we'll be faced with that dilemma though, someone will take him Top 10. **and we should not trade up for him or anyone, we do not have the resources.

Hold your horses. Media is blowing this kid up because he is a quarterback in a BCS bowl game. Seems like a pretty good player and certainly has potential as it looks like he has a heck of an arm but not sure about his ability to put touch on passes yet and it is fair to question the level of competition he has faced so far in his career. He did however only receive a 2nd round grade from the NFL Advisory Board which gives players insight into whether they should leave college early or stay in school so it does not sound like he is a sure fire top 10 pick though he could move up after the combine and interviews with team officials closer to draft time.

This dude isn't even close to the real deal. Talented? Sure. Nowhere near polished.

Manziel >>>>>>>> Bortles. Now and later

Players like this don't come too often. Now that we are a perpetual 8-8 team is the time we can land No. 15 or so and work our way up to draft this guy. 2nd round grade? I don't think so.

I be thinking of the future. Bortles (like most rookies) will need to sit a couple of years before seeing consistent action. And after two years Romo will be . . . 36.

Should we wait for another sterling kind of QB like Bortles for another two years or so and then half him ready to play when Romo is . . . 38. The future is now, Jerra. Be bold and stock up with a QB who will be ready in 2016.

I appreciate that, Clark.

No problem, Ed

Anyway, our offensive line is the best its been in half a decade, minus Miles Austin, our receiving core is a plus. Our run game seems to have found itself.

And you want to blow up our draft for a qb who tossed how many iNts in the bowl game?

We need defense, not a first round qb that is going to cost us money just to sit on the bench

If we are lucky, we might get one more year out of Romo. I doubt the back will hold out. Sort of like Aikman getting back spasms during warm-ups and not being able to play. So, I am on board with Hundley, Manziel, or Bortles in round one. Hundley would be my favorite. Although, I think all 4 go in the top 10 picks.

He is not worth moving up for sorry... I saw some things I like and saw some things I don't. The WRS did most of the work honestly. I was more impressed with Johnny Football's performance honestly.

Well, unless they is a Aikman or Walsh, these young QBs do sit on the bench for a year or two.

And Clark, don't you go falling in love with my RV, hear?

How many quarterbacks drafted in the first round sit for a year or two? Wait! How many teams trade up in the draft, potentially to a top 10/5 pick, and sit their qb a year or two?

Everyone wants to be able to let these qbs marinate, but when youre tradin away the draft and key players for a 2nd stringer, youre not going to have a good time.

Romo has atleast 4 good years left. I would bet in most of those years you could trade up for a top ten qb. So maybe.. tap the breaks a bit and let Romo lead us to consecutive double digit win seasons. I would say more, but the future gets hazy after that.
