Just wondering because lord knows I'm fed up with reading about people getting in trouble for you name it. Marcus Vick what a Winner...Sean Taylor aka the mad spit man...I hate Sean Taylor...Hate is a strong word but its true. What is wrong with these people...I just see things getting worse in the years to come. I guess If I had all that money I would just have fun instead of getting in trouble. Whats the Deal People????

It's sad, it truly is.

People here seem to take for granted the fact that Parcells has given us a team to be proud of (win or lose) consisting of high quality guys that don't carry firearms or spit on people.

That's why I get so angry when I hear this "BP hasn't won enough or BP hasn't done enough, let's find another coach..." garbage.

I love this team even when they don't win. Some things are more important than winning but that's just my opinion.

With out coaches like BP, Belichick and some others, it could be worse. They keep the mad cow disease owners from implanting low quality people in the NFL for a win, no matter the costs. I'm telling ya if they don't stop these kids from coming out early we got more problems coming. Young kids, millions of dollars and fame is a bad mix. Toss in three months of idle time, a dash of influence and you got some tough decisions to make and the wrong one's are usually more fun.

At the next owners meeting, they should discuss this.

They could have all teams put a clause in all contracts, no matter who they are, stating teams can re-coup that years portion of their signing bonus.

I like that idea.

Players getting into trouble is a fact of life.

All it does is make me apprecaite someone like Emmitt Smith even more.

To be honest with you, if you compare the trouble Professional Athletes get in to the trouble ordinary citizens like you and me, I betcha it would weight heavily in favor of the ordinary folks.

They are just in the lime light and in this day and age of the 24-hour news channels, everything gets blown up.

Now the difference is, what happens when ordinary citizens get in trouble and what happens when Pro Athletes get into trouble.

Oh, dont think for a second the stuff wasnt hitting the fan back in the good old days....just go read a couple of Cowboys books or talk to the older folks up in here and they will tell you that...

Combine everything you all just said and my point that it will get worse....The formula for destruction is there. Just take your athletes with money and bad influence combined with America as a Society...TV, Drugs, Wars, everything combines to this country falling apart from within...I know we are talking about sports but you can factor in politics, the young generation, gas prices, jobs everything....Then we watch sports because as Americans its our retreat to relax and not worry...then we have to read about F-sticks like Sean Taylor and Marcus Vick...knowing that if we had tons of money we would pay off debt and take care of our family. Heck we would even give to Charity....More Feedback Please

See I agree and I dont agree.

I know the book we read, I wont mention it to be PC...but there is a verse in there that says, "To more who is given, more is expected".

But those guys are human just like you and me, they just happen to have been blessed with a skill that puts them in a lime light.

Im torn on this issue.

BIBLE! There, is that a banable offense? :D

BUt here is the thing, seriously. They have so much money, and so much going for them and they make all the endorsement, that kids look up to them. When they screw up, they effect many kids because there are many kids who don't have the positive influences in their lives. So when one of these "heros messes up, and they get away with it, these kids think they can as well. I know that is a parents job to direct these kids but I see so many of these kids who don't have that kind of parenting at home.

You are more right than you are wrong. But honestly if you really want to trace the problem to it's roots it goes back to 1962. That is when something very important and valuable was taken away from kids in school which led to there being no moral compass in schools.

I've known plenty of people who've had DUI's and been arrested. Fans and the media expect athletes to be model citizens when many of them do the same things they criticize.

Good freakin LORD! Did anybody see a loogie come out of Taylors face mask? Who the hell knows, it was probably just some spit that came out of his mouth while he was jawing with Pittman. And if your going to say well look at the way his head moved, well Pittmans moved even more.

Are you still making excuses after the game and after his arse was fined? The ref must have saw it or else Pittman would have been ejected, duh!
