Anybody use a party pass last night? How was it??

From what I saw on tv, looked pretty crowded in spots and wide open in others. I'm curious to hear some first hand reports.

It was elbow to elbow in the Gate A concourse. Bathrooms were way more crowded than preseason but still WAY better than Texas Stadium. They sold out of Miller Genuine Draft by the end of the 2nd quarter (if that tells you anything). I saw multiple drunks getting escorted out by police. Pretty much crazy nutty atmosphere outside the big sliding doors where they set up some huge screens and a sound system for the party pass people there. We had to wade through the masses there to get to our seats. Lots of people were confused on where to go as can be expected on the 1st game of a new stadium.
The ushers checked my tickets at every door and stairway and did a good job of keeping the party contained to the deck area.

Overall, not a bad idea but Jerry ought to scale back the number of passes sold by 15-20%.

They're talking anout the party pases on Norm right now. This guy said it was so crowded, they couldn't even see the video screens.

I heard several callers on 103.3 after the game saying it was a madhouse and obviously oversold. My guess is Jerry didn't care if it was oversold for this first game -- he wanted that record and he was going to get it.

Agreed. I'm dissapointed we lost, but we lost to a good team in a close battle. Some coachable moments are there for Wade and crew and I look forward to next week. It's all too easy to wallow in a loss, just like it's easy to get majorly pumped about a win. I watched a competitive, entertaining, football game and, as I've said before, it's never as bad or as good as it might seem.

Has that ever happened here? I think this place would ***** about a 24-3 Super Bowl win if a Romo INT gave the opposition the field goal.... not to mention that we wouldn't have scored enough points.

I've seen it mostly in the chat zone and that's usually a reflection of the euphoria of the moment (or the booze! ) I don't let my self esteem rest on my team's accomplishments. I agree that we have folks who are NEVER happy with this team unless we win every game 77 - 0.

I had a party pass and I enjoyed my experience. It was crowded but I had a great view of the field and the board. Of course I got there early and did my part because I knew it was going to be this way. All in all I thought it was great and if you do a little work on your end the experience was great. However if you showed up an hour before kickoff then yeah it might have been rough. But even then there are like 2000 televisions you could have watched as well.
