Anyone catch what Ware said?

BS.

Ware has the most sacks over the last 3 seasons than any other player in the NFL. You think it is only this year that he has been double teamed?? Ware has been copping double linesman coverage for the last 3 years at least.

I am amazed people are jumping on him when the whole team is playing crap and Ware has 8 sacks from 9 games this year and the question's and criticisms should be pointed at other's not D Ware. People are living in fantasy land if you think he is going to get to the QB every play.

Sacks are stats and stats can be misleading. Just watch the game. Ware does not disrupt the QB nor does anyone else.Sometimes disruptions are better than sacks because they cause the QB to throw picks.

sacks are fine but there is a lot more to it than that. You have to account when the sacks took place, were they crunch time sacks, what down, etc, etc.

Mate you are dreaming.

Can you imagine how bad our D would be if Ware was not there?? Ware has been a monster for the last 3 years and a walk up start in ANY team in the league.

Are you suggesting we get rid of him or something with all this criticism you are slinging his way????

This is from Pro Football Weekly; some opinions from anonymous NFL scouts:

• "No one in football has a scarier first step than (Pittsburgh OLB) James Harrison. He's so powerful and at 5-foot-11, gets under your pads and just bulls (blockers). He is a terror."

• "(Green Bay OLB Clay) Matthews does not have a patented go-to move where he could just beat a tackle creatively. (Dom Capers) schemes it up well to free him up on blitzes."

I definitely see that with Matthews. I would love to get their opinions on Ware and Spencer. I think Ware is good but a lot of Cowboys fans want to put him in the "Great" category. He's John Abraham...a good pass rusher who can get you 10+ sacks every year but he can't make up for an entire terrible defense.

Are you talking about the same John Abraham who has gotten 10+ sacks in only half of the seasons he has been in the league?

You can't be serious. Ask any NFL coach, GM or scout, and they'll tell you Ware is great.

John Abraham???

Post interview with Babe Luaghenberg. He said it didn't matter what the pass rush does when the Quarterback can just lob it in the air and complete the pass.

Babe looked shocked that Ware threw the secondary under the bus. I was kind of happy he did.

Then Ware said that becasue he sees it happening in practice, it doesn't surprise him that it happens in games. Inferirng to me that the secondary isn't even performing well in practices.

Thought it was a little refreshing for someone to finally say something with a little "meat" to it. Rather than the regular run of the mill - "we work hard" and "we just gotta get a win"....

You thought it was refreshing that a player threw other players under the bus while taking no accountability for the fact that he quit on his team today and hasn't been making many plays at all this season himself?

Same attitude that we've been seeing.. Ware is supposed to be a leader on this team? What he said in that interview shows he's the furthest thing from it.

For some odd reason I thought someone was going to try to compare Ware to Clay. I am not taking noting away from the young guy he is a monster but he's just having a better season. Look at the other great sack machines this year their sacks or down considerable this year. I think Ware was right about calling these guys out. I was thinking the same thing about their practices. Seriously Mike Jenkins should be matched up with Miles or Dez in practice. He's getting torched out there. I think last year for Mike was a fluke season and this year shoes it. We have T.New on the opposite side, how can you be a feared db when you're constinly hurt all the time? Charles Woodson has been playing for ages it seems like but has yet to show signs of declining. Face it guys WARE WAS RIGHT.

Yep.

Even if it's true, the guy making a bazillion dollars shouldn't be saying it to the press. Take some responsibility.

Did he actually say it? Or is this another case of willful paraphrasing by the Dallas faithful? This doesn't sound like D Ware at all.

Yeah, good point.

Ware, like the rest of the D ... hasn't played horribly over the last 2-3 games. That said, Ware still has 8 sacks in 8 games with essentially no one else contributing to the rush. Teams do not fear Spencer (who has really regressed), and Rat has just one sack this year.

Also, me thinks some are going overboard with Mathews. Yes, he is high energy and is no doubt very solid. However, on both his sack and big run stuff, he was left COMPLETELY UNBLOCKED. Colombo blew the first and Witten the second. I can't recall seeing Mathews defeat a double team in this or any other game I've seen him play in.

When Ware plays half the game like Matthews, then he should talk.

He may have more ability, but Matthews has 10x the moves Ware has

I would love to see a steroid test on this guy.

And so it begins....................(finger pointing)

There is enough for it to go around to Campo's guys too. In his defense, Church played well and was the one bright spot. Can't do it by himself and is more of a situational, box player.

I was thinking the same exact thing when I first saw him. Walk on and played first year as a Sr. and has exploded onto the scene. It was like the announcers were rubbing it in our faces. "Look at this juicer."

Yup.

Roids.

I love that its gotten this bad in Dallas, that our defense plays so passively and without emotion or passion that when we do see a guy on another team who plays with the kind of raw emotion and intensity that we need much more of on this team, we assume he must be on roids or cheating.

lol

O please... that guy is on roids, like most of the NFL... just more apparent with him.

I normally wouldn't argue with you. But why do you think it's garbage. I have a pretty good reason why it's not garbage.

I can't do anything but shake my head at you lol.

Shall we test Ray Lewis for roids as well? Since he plays with the same fire and intensity, obviously he must be juicing because he's an emotional player.

again..
