Anyone else concerned with the Saints coaching staff?

I know the Saints have a quality team with good skill position players already, but I am more than a little concerened with how well their staff knows our players. If you think about it, they know more about our personnel's weaknesses than any amount of film study could help them to learn, and as such they know how to attack our Defense (ala routes our DB's have trouble covering via Payton & Gibbs), as well as what will work Defensively against our Offense (via Gibbs), problems with our blocking schemes & our QB's flaws (again via Payton). Throw in all of our former players on their team and it could be a bad mix.

I hate to say it but I really do not have a good feeling about this game.
Still I am hopeful for a Boys victory, but I am concerned.

I anticipate being outcoached and the Saints to run some schemes that we'll have early trouble with.
But what I hope is that we adjust and overcome those schemes and make it come down to talent vs talent and one-on-one matchups, which we should win in a landslide.

Nope. Execution will be the key. Parcells and company know every wrinkle that could possibly be conceived against them, execution trumps trickery and Dallas' superior talent matched with that execution makes for a Cowboy victory.

Not really, I think games come down to which team executes the game plan the best. Payton may know our offense but he is not going to be covering our WR or trying to rush the QB his players are and understanding what we do and stopping it are 2 different things.

They have a fine staff.

It does not help they have two former assistants on each side of the football.

But, that being said, I believe we can compensate.

While I doubt the collective brains of Payton and Gibbs could outcoach Coach Parcells, I do believe we will have a very competitive game in that regard.

I do believe Sean will take more risks. And Coach Parcells as well.

Nope.

The NFL is just like any other "exclusive" club. Everybody knows everybody and they all know what each other has and how they are going to use them.

If you're not concerned, you should be.

I'm not necessarily talking about BP....although I would say that the Saints have consistently looked VERY prepared each game with good schemes that maximize their talents and hide their numerous weaknesses and they play with good discipline meanwhile....we commit a ton of penalities, drop passes, and look ready to play only about half the games we've played in this year.

I'm moreso talking about our unpopular D-Coordinator...Zimmer
Who knows....we may get the performance like we got against the Colts...or the one like against the pitiful skins.

After the win by the Cowboys, when BP and Payton meet to shake hands, BP will say "I didn't teach you everything." :)

The game is played on the field not on the sidelines.

If "Zimmy Wuss" can outduel Indianapolis and Manning, we can at least come up with something competitive for the Saints.

I know it is a big deal right now to go "ooooh" and "aaaah" over their offense, but it is very fundamental and can be beaten by a good pass rusher.

Now, if we can just find one.

SaintsFanMan here to tell you that the Saints rarely commit a stupid penalty and the WRs catch just about everything because Brees throws a very catchable ball. Also Brees as always thrown one of the best deep passes in the league. I still can't believe how good he really is.

If you can play in New Orleans with our history, you must be GREAT, and he is. I would be worried if you don't bring your "A" game because the Saints will.

That said, It looks like all the starters will be playing with Horn upgraded to questionable. Of course Hollis's suspension will not be reversed so you got us there.

Look forward to another Dallas loss. :D

You have our hands full with the leagues #1 offense. Add to the fact that our coach knows you inside and out and Dallas fans should be worried.

Yet Dallas puts more points on the board than does the Saints. NO does lead the league in yards but you get no points for putting up more yards.
