Anyone else disappointed Bledsoe show no support for Romo on the sidelines?

I know that being replaced at Halftime is not going to make anyone happy. But if he is the professional that everyone claims he is, he needs to act like it. I was disgusted that all he did the whole 2nd half was pout on the sideline. Not once did he try to help the young kid out, not once did he look at any pictures to see what the D was doing. This is not the signs of a professional, but a big spoiled cry baby.

I know I was. He is a professional and not a pouting school boy. Very disappointing. I lost a lot of respect for him last night.

What was he supposed to do, give him a hug after each of the three INTs?

Tell me, if your boss fired you on national tv would you hug your replacement?

Please. He could show support for the team and not pout on the sidelines. He is paid to help the team.

I completely agree. I understand how upsetting it is to be in his position. But he did not handle it well at all, just like he never handles hard situations well, always making excuses and blaming others etc. IF he were any kind of man after that first interception Romo threw he would have gone over there patted on the helment and helped him out or atleast encouraged him. Instead he just stood on the sidelines. Good Post.

Well, I'm assuming that goes both ways right? I know that I saw Romo laughing and yuking it up on the side lines, prior to getting the call at half. Bledsoe was certainly struggling and I'm sure he could have used some support so.............. what do you think? Should we get the pitch boiling and one or two of us can start with the chicken feather plucking that's going to be needed for Romo?

I hope we never see him wearing the star again.

Personally I don't care if he went over and pinched Bill on the butt and professed a case of man love for Bill.

He played like crap and got benched for it. Somehow I think at that point the last thing on his mind was to play cheerleader to the QB that was put in his place.

I agree with you......Kurt Warner has help the last couple QB's that have benched him.

Bledsoe could have seen something in the coverage and relayed it to Romo and keep him from maybe throwing one of those 3 picks. :banghead:

I disagree. Over the years, I've seem many QB's get pulled and much of the time they picked up the clip board and showed support for the backup QB and the team. Most recently Kurt Warner in AZ.

I think it's possible he was pretty shocked and was feeling mighty introspective about the chance that he may have taken his last snap in an NFL uniform.

Bledsoe will stick around and be available to help Romo if they want him to. If they treat him like he's radioactive I don't see how he can/should go begging to be Romo's mentor.

Nothing Drew could have said would have prevented the first two INTs. The last one was just a terrible throw.

Not during the game that got him benched. If Bledsoe sticks around, I'm sure he'll come around. It's tough to lose your starting job no matter what sport you are playing. It must be devistating for one of your captains to lose theirs.

Warner has been benched 3 times in his career as well, and each time he sucks it up, and works with the new QB. Shows him what he is seeing, gives him tips.

The hold my shoulder pads and pout on the sideline routine was classless. This is a team sport. Help your team win.

Yes, even in the game he is benched. He should always think of the team and help his team win.

After the first half Bledsoe was having.

Do you really want him giving tips to Romo in the second half?

You guys are taking the human element out of this. Like I stated earlier, Warner was supportive of his QB's after a full week of knowing he was not the man. When he was benched at the half, he sat on the side by himself. Check it out.

Wow, I guess all those great games he played have been forgotten. Romo is so seasoned and skilled now.
