Anyone else disappointed in the effort on the last play?

After Fred got the ball back from GB, everyone was basically just standing around not trying anymore. If it had been a fast player instead of Fred who had paid attention and gotten the ball, who knows what happens. Sure it's a long shot, but at least try.

the clock at zero...once GB gain possession the game was over...Fred's hustle at that point was unfortunately too much too little too late...

Witten did not care for it at all, he was ready to hit the showers at that point.

My gripe with these hook and lateral last-second plays in general (not just Cowboys but in football) is why do you still line up with 5 OL? At this point, it's backyard football so might as well just have the QB and then all of your skill position players and fastest on defense. There is no point in really protecting the QB because it will just be a quick snap and a throw so you have these 5 OL who bring nothing to the play once they start the laterals.

Huh, interesting. Never thought of that. I guess that would be legal, as long as all five of them declare themselves ineligible. You could use the guys who play on the kickoff return teams, so they're used to blocking in space (of course, they commit penalties almost every time...).

Yeah, I would like to see teams approach it almost like a kick return. You snap the ball in a legal formation and then just have all 10 guys run downfield as blockers to lead the guy with the ball. Once the runner crosses the Line of Scrimmage, then guys can start sprinting downfield without getting an Ineligible Player Downfield penalty. It's an interesting strategy, it may not work but I feel like it would at least make it interesting enough instead of endless laterals that go nowhere. Plus, defenses are not used to seeing teams prepare something like that...you might get lucky.

You had a chance to win, you let it slip away. Trying to win at the end of the game BECAUSE now you think you can, not the way to do it. You lost, deal with it, face it another way, face it the correct way. At that point you arent looking at a loss, you are looking at a loss season. Its time for the players to make some hard decisions.

They moved the camera around the stadium and I seen one Miller Lite dancing girl who was not shaking her money maker at full speed.

Made me mad. If I knew her name I would report her to Jerry Jones.

/sarcasm off.
you sure a slow song wasn't playing and she was going for a different..."look"?

This just blew my mind. I have never thought about replacing the o line with skilled players on a play like this. I'd love to see it happen

It's a process

Once Frederick got the ball, they had a real chance at scoring because the packers all assumed the game was over. Unfortunately, so did the Cowboys. Frederick had both Dak and Zeke right behind him when he was running. If he had turned around and tossed it to one of them, and then continued ahead blocking with the other linemen, it could've been real interesting. Unfortunately, as soon as that packers player picked up the ball, everyone pretty much quit. By the way, does that count as a forced fumble and fumble recovery for Martin?

On the last play, Why did the GB player just stop once he got the ball and let Fred take it from him? Is that player just an idiot? Buck seemed to think the game was over for some reason as well. Even with 0 on the clock you still have to play it out

All or our last effort plays have been futile against Rodgers.

We are not a good match up for him.

When you give him time..forget it.

He will kill you.

He has a great killer instinct.
