Anyone else disappointed in the effort on the last play?

No it was not. He had to kneel for the play to be over.

Hmmmm...interesting point...gonna have to look that one up but your logic is sound.

Edit: Excellent point! The GB player was never touched down...still a live ball. Fred is an engineer for a reason! I stand corrected! :)

My gripe is the last play of the first half, even after the sack you till had a TO left for one more play....Jump ball in the end-zone with Dez would make any defense nervous.

Witten did not care for it at all, he was ready to hit the showers at that point.

My gripe with these hook and lateral last-second plays in general (not just Cowboys but in football) is why do you still line up with 5 OL? At this point, it's backyard football so might as well just have the QB and then all of your skill position players and fastest on defense. There is no point in really protecting the QB because it will just be a quick snap and a throw so you have these 5 OL who bring nothing to the play once they start the laterals.
Interesting idea. Maybe you would keep Frederick in there for the shotgun snap but thats it.

Good point bro, I never really thought about it that way but you are right.........should put all your WRs and RBs on the field and just start playing hot potato back and forth.

Broaddus said on Talking Cowboys that on the right side of the field you had Beasly with a blocker infront of him and that if Dak would have tossed it over to Beasly, he might have had a chance to score if he really motored down the sideline.

Dak threw the ball to the left instead, I guess he didn't see Beasly.:(
