Absolutely, but it would be nice if our defenders weren't tackled and put in headlocks with no call. But yeah, props to the winners.I blame Aaron Rodgers and Mason Crosby...
We need to make the playoffs obviously but no matter the success in the regular season it wont matter until the playoffs. Please know I'm not saying this as an arrogant Cowboy fan.
Nope. I'm over it already.
I've lived through the winning years.
I'm matured and football doesn't run my emotions like it used to.
The draft can provide a worthy distraction.
Oh, I hear ya. Those two just had career best performances at the worst time for us. What are the odds?! Of course, there were a lot of other variables and I know we could have done some things better and the officials certainly could have done some things better, but Rodgers and Crosby did their thing about as well as anyone could ask of them. I tip my hat to them and say to my team: Get to work and come up with a different outcome in 2017!Absolutely, but it would be nice if our defenders weren't tackled and put in headlocks with no call. But yeah, props to the winners.
Same here. My daughters were worried about me after the game (texted my wife asking "is Dad OK?"...)Nope. I'm over it already.

I honestly don't know where this comes from.
Any football fan to expect a rookie QB to hang with a seasoned veteran is nuts. Dakota Prescott did just that and damn near won. Unheard of, IMO.
Proclaiming Dallas is a choke artist with TWO rookies and an orphan defense has a very weak argument, IMO. Haters or otherwise.
The day Dak and Zeke started a new era began. Zero to do with past rosters..
The team will not have officially turned a corner until we 1) make the playoffs for consecutive years and 2) actually win some playoff games to prove we are an elite team.
After the past two playoff games, I just feel that we have to be so much better than our competition, like 2 TD's better, to overcome getting jobbed by the refs. I've never felt that way before, I used to think we that we would have tough reffing days like Minnesota, or get lucky like in the first Washington game, which kind of balanced out..... NY would always get away with more OL holding than most etc.
But Dez's catch reversal, the obvious fumble by Cobb and the no call with Clayroid below Romo's knees in '15 and the premeditated archeological relic call, Jason PI no call and obvious Irving take down from behind on the "miracle 3rd down PI" this year, convince me that someone is trying to engineer outcomes. The evidence is overwhelming, why won't it happen again next playoff game?
if that happens it won't just be the regular season that loses its luster for me, it may just be the whole damn sport.I bet we don't do better than 9-7 next season, and barely miss the playoffs.
I just don't see us making the playoffs 2 years in a row. When was the last time that happened? As optimistic as I was about this season, in the back of my mind I thought it was all too good to be true.if that happens it won't just be the regular season that loses its luster for me, it may just be the whole damn sport.
The only comfort I'll get is if GB loses. I grew up in Wisconsin and nothing would have given me more pleasure than to see Dallas win Sunday. Now, I hope somehow Atlanta finds a way to beat GB. Their fans are obnoxious, conceited, classless jerks who expect every fanbase to bow before them. Can't believe three of the league favorites are left in the SB. I want Atlanta to crush GB next week and either one of those slimy AFC teams. There would be minor comfort in that at least.
