No, but I'm looking for reasonable plane fares for Phoenix to go watch the Big XII Champions in the Fiesta Bowl!!! :D

That'll be a home game for Oklahoma. If you guys win by less than 40 it will be considered a failure.

some of us here actually have more interest in meeting and befriending other cool cowboys fans than constantly digging at them, but thanks for more useless input.

ROFL!! Possibly the most :hammer: response I've seen on a FB in a long time. Nicely done phill.

I've been a lurker here off and on since it was .net, and one thing I noticed quickly, HH apparently relishes in his self-appointed role as the poster child of why a&m fans are such a laughingstock in this state.

I would but since several longhorn players have already said they don't care about the game and will "try to get up for it," I decided to not watch this group of quitters again this season.

you know, you have the right to rub in your win against Texas, but I would wait until your team actually wins a bowl game this century. They showed up real well in the Cotton 2 years ago and the same result is waiting in San Diego.

I find it a riot that Texas was mocked for going to the Cotton and Holiday bowl, but when aggies go, it is a great bowl.

Go to a few BCS bowl games and bring home a National Championship trophy and then you can gloat all you want. By the way, real classy to have a sig pic of an already injured player taking an illegal shot...real nice.

Maybe next year I will dig up a pic of a fallen bonfire to celebrate in my sig with a title of "Clean up, Aisle 12"...because that is they type of class you bring around here.

My team is playing the the ever popular Insight.com Bowl {/yawn}

I would've rather played in the lesser paying Independence Bowl.....at least I could then drive to Shreveport and gamble.

LOL, tell ya what Dep, how about I join ya on that and we blow off both "who cares" bowls our team's are in and make that Shreveport trip? The 3 hours it takes to get there would probably be more enjoyable! :D

yeah, I would probably use the game as an excuse to my wife for going to Shreveport, then miss the game and stay at the casino.....but I just got back from Vegas so that may not work either.

FYI, here's a photo heavyhitta should remember and enjoy, Harrell's gw TD to Johnson in College Station....we had a below average year, but it sure is nice to beat A&M seemingly every year:

I don't think he should play. He was cleared against a&m and he clearly should not have been in the game.

Just stick Matt McCoy in there and finish the roll over job that the team started against Kansas State. They clearly did not care about the season when they played a&m because they were spoiled by success and they will not give a **** about the Alamo bowl...just end this embarassment of a season now and get ready for next year.

i'll take 10 wins and a bowl victory every year.

geeeze, we go 36 years in-between titles, and you're gonna be mad about not winning back to back titles, and actually losing a couple games after winning...what...21 straight? news flash...you can't be champs every year.

gimmie a break.

i'm psyched about this game, just like any other Texas game, no matter the situation, and I hope Colt McCoy goes nuts.

There is plenty to play for and I expect a bounce back performance from the horns.

I am not mad about not winning a title...I am mad that the damn team quit because they were out of the race.

We had the South wrapped up and we let OU fall assbackwards into the BCS. I am mad because of the little effort I saw Texas put forth in the a&m game and I am ****ing pissed when I read the players quotes of

"oh, we will TRY to get up for the alamo bowl."

I am concerned about possibly ruining the career of McCoy in a meaningless bowl game as we lose QB recruits left and ****ing right.

i couldn't disagree with you any more.

this team didn't quit. they just didn't play well enough. let's face it; if colt doesn't get hurt, they don't lose to k-state. but that's football. that's the breaks.

it appears they put colt back in too soon. clearly he was not himself for the a and m game. the defense gave up 12 freakin points. you call that quitting? the offense just didn't have its usual firepower. if anything, maybe colt should have taken himself out...but he sure as heck didn't quit. he fought till the end.

but, he's had twice as much time to recover, and let's be real...the coaching staff and medical staff would not put his career in jeopardy for one game.

and as for the quote, i'm sure the players were disappointed not going to kansas city and a bcs game (and frankly, i'd be mad if they weren't) but i fully expect that to go away come gameday.

so, maybe you're worried, but i am not.

I guess we agree to disagree. Mack Brown's teams have always had problems getting up for some games, even under VY. Texas was dead against A&M and so was the crowd...and I fully expect the same half *** effort against Iowa judging from the player's own comments. Mack's teams the past few years have not handled disappointment well (2003 Holiday Bowl bid, 2006 A&M game).

They only gave up 12 points to aggy because aggy is not good at all. Texas should still have won the game if not for a couple of bad coaching moves and a BS offensive PI penalty. The only difference this year was that aggy did not let Texas off the hook.

It did seem a tale of two seasons, as earlier on, UT played with some heart. They won two games back to back weekends, they could've and probably should've lost, @ Nebraska and @ Tech, both games they were down and seemingly out (especially the Tech game) but came back to win both.......then they play a horrid game vs K-State after McCoy got hurt and then laid an egg against A&M.

I will say as a Tech fan/alum, even when we were up 21-0 on UT and scored 31 points in the first half, I had no doubt we would blow it......that's just how we roll.
