Magnificent 7 looks like it could be a big letdown, but I just don't go off previews anymore, I'll probly love it with low expectations.ha

He did Equalizer movie (tv show). He is doing sequel. So he's making this is Mission impossible-type franchise.

Absolutely 0 excitement about seeing a truly wonderful movie being remade.
They've been doing this for 50 years.
1000's of attempts, I believe there might be 6 successes:
Cape Fear
True Grit
The Fly
The Thing
For each Oceans Elevens' there are dozens of Psycho's, Stepford Wives and Sabrina's.

Remakes are like the electrical outlet of art.
I suppose I could see why you'd put your finger in there once; but to be actually excited about the prospect of doing it over and over again seems.......unwise.
