And the very real possibility of an Eagles-Steelers Super Bowl? :bang2:

I haven't even watched the majority of the 2009 playoffs. The way the Cowboys laid down in week 17 (in what was essentially a playoff game for us) was so disheartening that I haven't had the stomach for it.

But I'll be watching Sunday's action like a hawk. If you were to have asked me before the season, "Name the Super Bowl match-up you absolutely, positiviely DON'T want to see happen", it would've been Eagles-Steelers... hands down.

The reasons are obvious, and I know I'm not alone: I don't want the Steelers to surpass us in the Lombardi department... and I sure as hell don't want the Eagles to win one.

Seriously, the thought of Donovan McNabb raising the Lombardi trophy sickens me to my core. He's been my least favorite athlete for the majority of his career. It will feel 100X sicker than when Eli Manning did it last year. :(

But alas, that's the match-up I'm expecting for February 1st. Philly blasted Arizona when they met up earlier this year, and the Steelers dominated the red-hot Chargers last week (plus they swept Baltimore in the regular season).

Add in the facts that, 1) we were the Super Bowl "favorite" heading into the year, 2) I might be lucky enough to actually attend the Super Bowl, and 3) we lost to both teams in December to help seal our fate... and it makes a crappy potential situation even worse.

Please, please, PLEASE Arizona and/or Baltimore... give me a reason to not puke Sunday night.:

We could've prevented it, so Im not upset. We got no one to blame for ourselves and that pathetic performance we put on the field in Philly.

Last year should have been the Cowboys' year and they blew it. That bothers me more than anything that happens this weekend.

I actually have enjoyed most of the Cardinals games this season, so I am kinda rooting for that team...or at least betting on them.

Well, we already know that the Patriots didn't play their best game. Had the Cowboys shown up, whose to say?

But, obviously, these Cowboys haven't learned how to show up yet ... a problem that remains to this day.

Nope, I am psyched! Go Cardinals, a team that plays like a team.

Cowboy Creampuffs are long gone.
