Anyone else think we'll be making the first pick tomorrow?

I do.

I have the feeling that they have someone in mind that they love and will gladly give up the needed pick(s) to move up to guarantee they get him.

If we're talking moving up five spots or so and giving a 7th, sure. The guy they are targeting might be there when they pick though.

Who knows what Jerruh's thinking.

We would have to give up one of our 5ths (or the equivalent) to move up to #65.

I kinda bet something happens like this ... maybe not pick 65 but close.

But this is the time NOT TO GET NERVOUS .. there is too much divergence of opinion at this point in the draft ... nobody's a sure thing at this point ... just sit still Jerry!

I remember we jumped up to take Canty in the fourth a few years ago, so yeah, it's possible.

The plot will thicken today.

We'll give up our 3rd and next year's 2nd to move up 5 spots today.

if they were that keen then would they not just have taken them at 51 rather than move down then try to move back up?

I would think so.

But I saw panic yesterday when they weren't prepared for what happened.

People can disagree, but that's what I saw.

I saw them follow-up the mistake of not going after a player they coveted by making a trade where they lost value.

And I can see them continuing to panic and feel they have to get their one guy and then everything will be well.

Hopefully I'll be wrong about it and they know better than me.

I feel like I saw the same thing and it was like deja vu from years past.
I hope we kick butt today and they make me forget about yesterday.

Wow. Detroit just schooled Dallas on the value of traded draft picks.
