First of all, I have seen this question posed here many times. So dont hate on me for bringing new light to it. Watching Mike on the sideline coaching a team (even if its only the pro-bowl) makes me extremely happy. Doesnt anyone else wish he could one day coach the Cowboys? I know hes loving life for the NFL network, but hes just so passionate and looks good with that headset on doesnt he?

What's it going to be then, eh?

Why no.

This is a completely original thought that has never been suggested before.

I think you might be onto something here.

It takes more than passion and intensity to be a good head coach.

Correct. Like Michael's desire to stop his job at NFLN, decide to coach a bunch of nitwit kids that think they know better, spend 12 hours a day working as a lowly serf assistant coach to some dummy head coach who got hired solely due to nepotism---etc.

Being a coach and loving football are two different things.

I don't think it would be a good idea but might be an improvement from our current coach.

12 hours a day - Is he leaving early?

People around here are absolutely clueless on what it entails to oversee a group of 50+ men...and however many more on the coaching staff

Let me clue you guys in...running around and yelling and showing passion doesn't constitute of even 1% of the job..

I can think of more than a few guys I'd love to see him replace on the current staff.

Exactly. Mike Singletary had a ton of passion and intensity. I love Irvin, and I think he would make a good WR coach, and would be great for locker room speeches, but that's about it.
