Anyone had a good look at Holloman?

I guess I tend to close my eyes when the defense is out there. Anyone here had a good chance to breakdown his play? Ive read his scouting reports but had paid specific attention to him. Anyone get a chance to watch him at South Carolina? What attribute could he specifically use to his advantage in this game? Has he looked to have developed at the year has progressed?

i hate to say this, another over hyped player, among many. I wanted him to be good, i usually dont jump on the wagon. but sadly, this year he proved little to nothing to me. And this was the year to prove yourself to the coaches beacuse positive was low but stink was through the roof.

Well, there is still time to make a name for himself.

The thing about this pick is that he is one of those between size guys. I wanted so bad for Dallas to sign Ray Ray Armstrong outta Miami but he is almost in the same situation, perhaps more of a up side. Time will tell.

oh come on man, im not asking neuro science from the guy, just to display something, anything to the coaches im not saying a pic every game or something, but show something, show you want it, show you will get in the coaches heads that you can play, that you want to job, that you can grow and do better. Has he shown anything of that magnitude? I say he hasnt, and this was a perfect year to do something. I dont think much of heath but he took his opp, he showcased, he did something.

He moves more than our other LB's in zone and nearly had a pick. The instincts are there and for playing Mike in his first career start, he did a decent job. He held on and engaged in some blocks in which he should've peeled off from. It's too early to say there is no hope for him.

He made a few good plays against Washington. Seems to have decent ability to get to where the ball is, but can get caught up in the wash.

I never heard him being over hyped. Other than by a few fans from a few good pre season game plays. Fans hype don't count.
He couldn't prove anything this year, as he was injured most the year, and he is a rookie that wasn't expected to contribute a lot except maybe ST's.

Why is it people expect every draft choice or even a FA making the team be a super star.

what you are saying isnt wrong, and i did explain im not looking for a lot, yes hes a rookie. But i was hoping for a bit more of an impact with teh defense being so bad that he could have had abetter shot to do something and I think or hoped he had the skill set to showcase it this year, do i expect a lot out of him, no, but just a tad more than i had hoped, i can be wrong, i can admit that.

I agree, with all the injuries, it was time to step up and show something. Kind of reminds me of Bruce Carter, came in injured, missed time first few years, or was it just the first year. seemed lost, did not impress but a few flashes here and there. Then became very good. but took a step back this year.
I was hoping a lot from him too, but expected growing pains too. But the injuries don't help, as we all know.

I may have misread your post a little, or didn't quite understand it all. I'm trying to do 3 things at same time.
