Anyone hear why the Ref threw his hat?

Anyway, did anyone ask the ref what he was thinking?

cause no one was looking outside the field of play.

you ever see a ref NOT do that? yea it was bad timing and part of a circus of comedy i hate but some "questions" are pretty "questionable".
