Anyone heard about a "White Out" Sunday? **Confirmed**

My buddy I tailgate with emailed our group this AM saying that we need to wear white to the game Sunday as the Cowboys have asked fans to do so for a "white out." Anyone heard about this? I've yet to hear it on the radio, the official site, or here. :starspin

At our place we are not only wearing white jerseys, but we are honoring Roy Williams, everyone that has one will wear #31, should be about 8 of us.

I hate gimmicks like this, but if it fires up the crowd, I'm for it.

When I saw the Giants were wearing red jersies in our last game, the first thought I had was that instead of helping the Giants, it would help Romo see his receivers and sure enough, Romo said he didn't see any red, so that's why he made the throw for our first TD in that game.

Gimmicks rarely help a team win, but if it helps the normally docile Texas Stadium crowd, I guess it's a good thing.

I hate to say it, but this is going to fail miserably.

It's forecast to be around 45-50 Sunday and fairly brisk wind. I honestly can't think of anything I have in white, heavy enough or big enough to fit over a jacket or even a hoodie.
Guess I'm off to the mall this afternoon? :bang2:

I usually wear my old cowboys starter hoodie underneath my ware jersey. I am going to buy a white cowboys sweatshirt I think this week.

I have had that starter hoodie since the 91 season. It has always been good luck. I bought it the week we beat the skins!

They want all the fans to wear white and will be giving out white towels to all the crowd to wave! I have never attended a playoff game, but several regular games and sometimes it has been a rather bland crowd. We need to be the 12th man on Sunday and bring our "A" cheering game.

Can't wear blue, considering the Giants wear blue also. What Jones originally asked that everyone wear there white NFC east champion shirts. To show unity and white out the Giants. A all white crowd waving white towels when the Giants have the ball sounds good to me.
