Anyone here into watches?

Just curious, wondering if there are other 'zoners that are total watch dorks like I am. Started off with two vintage Omegas (a solid-gold Constellation and a stainless steel Geneve) I inherited from my father. Then early last year I grew tired of my Seiko chronograph that I had been wearing as my every-day beater and gave it away, and took the plunge into watch nerd-dom reading everything i could about the various brands and settled on a Seiko automatic diver. Decided that I wanted an Omega of my own, and after all year of trying to justify one (with the help of a larger-than-expected company bonus!) dove in and got this beauty.....Seamaster Pro 2254.50

My grail watch is an Omega Speedmaster Professional, hopefully sometime late this year!

Anybody else out there like me? Post some wristshots!

I like watches. It started with me being fascinated with my Dad's Rolex. I have a gold Tag Heuer with a blue face.

What I really want is a Breitling. I've had my eye on this one for a long time. It's called the Skyracer.

Something about that watch just appeals to me.

Breitling - great watches, but a lot of their designs suffer from ugly bezels. Now, a lot of people don't find them ugly, but a lot of people do. The Breitling design I like the most is the Navitimer (love the chronograph). Looks great on a strap (I don't much care for Breitling's bracelet offerings)

However, for chronos, nothing can beat the handwind movement of the Speedy Pro!

I don't have anything in the price range of an Omega, but I have a few nice but not exclusive watches. My favorite is my Citizen Nighthawk. I really like its looks, size, and the (never have to replace) eco-drive battery.

I'm a real sucker for the no hassle solar power. I don't think I'll ever buy a watch that's powered any other way.

My current daily watch.
I'll admit it, I got a Jones for that. Nice watch and a much better price than a Breitling.

I don't currently wear a watch, but the last one was similar to this one before the battery went out.

Fossil watch is one I'd like to buy later.

I've never been a watch person and I have never spend more than $50 for one. As long as it keeps time I'm happy with it.

However I do have a Cowboys watch but the band is too small. :D

I have a Citizen watch that I've never worn, I've had it for almost 7 years

think I can still get a battery for it to work?

You should be able to but don't go to Wal Mart. You have to pay for it at the jewelry counter or else they walk it up to the checkout line. All for a $1 battery.

I love watches, especially ones made by Movado. Recently picked up this watch.

My current daily watch.

The Citizen Skyhawks and Nighthawks are awesome value for the money. They have quite a following on a few watchnerd-sites. Citizens and Seikos (and Orients) are all great bang for the buck. Easily as good (or in some cases, better) than Swiss watches at 2x the price.

I hate wearing any type of jewelry, I'd rather sport one of these.
