I thought if we won 8 games last year we'd have even less. There was no way you can tell me we'd have 7 wins at this point in the season. I saw nothing to point to that direction.

As far as predictions record wise.

I will stick to 8-8 until proven otherwise and anything over 8 wins is icing on the cake.

Other things can be added to the cake as well if we make the playoffs, win in the playoffs and anything that goes beyond that.

I predicted 8-8 again .....very pleased so far because were running the ball and its working. Just enjoying each game as they come....playoffs and a win or two there will just be icing.

My thoughts exactly. While I'm glad they're at 7-3, losing to the Skins and Cards still hurt. I'm dreading the thought that Dallas will be lined up for a Wild Card, but miss the playoffs because they have the same amount of wins as the Cards by the end of the season, but the Cards have the tie-breaker.

I can live with the Cards' loss considering they were playing well and we were playing with Tony, but I hope the loss to the Commanders doesn't come back to bite us. Of course, that can't serve as an excuse for Dallas not making the playoffs since the only way they fall out of the chase now is if they take themselves out.

Happy with the record as I was in the 6-10 club (just never formally) at the beginning of the season. Too many 8-8s and with losing some key personnel, didn't think we could make up the ground that quickly. Happy to be wrong. Also very happy that we are relatively healthy this season and the BYE week comes at a great time going into the final stretch. If we play to our capabilities, we can hang with anyone. If we abandon the run and start missing tackles, we can be beat by anyone. Going to be a fun remainder of the season!

Kind of off-topic, but here's a simplistic breakdown of the NFC playoff contenders' remaining schedule (excluding NFC South...only the Division winner will get in) ranked from easiest to toughest remaining schedule:

By losing to Arizona, they have a 2 1/2 game lead on us, so that'll be tough to overcome even though they lost Palmer and have a pretty tough remaining schedule. Stranger things have happened, however. Hope springs eternal!

Well, then we have our 2 "coaching losses" out of the way already and still sit at 7-3. If our 2 coach losses per year stays on par, we should be good to go for the last 6.
