Anyone notice how loud the crowd was on the last 2 plays of the game?

I know we have heard and talked a lot about how quiet the stadium has been during some games during recent years, but I don't think I've ever heard a crowd in Dallas that loud for the final two plays of a preseason game, especially when there were third, fourth and fifth string players in the game.

You might expect that during the first half when the starters or even second string is in, but not at the end of the game with mostly guys who won't even be on the team once the season starts. The crowd was very loud on the last two plays, especially the last play.

Imagine being some of those players on the field who won't make it on any roster. That's a feeling and atmosphere they will never forget. Sure they probably heard much louder crowds during college, but this was a NFL preseason game where you expect a lot of fans to leave early to beat the traffic.

Edit: Yes, I know it's cheaper tickets .. blah blah blah .. but my point is that I do not remember ever hearing a crowd that loud at the end of a Cowboys preseason home game.

It was pretty empty too. That was also contributed to the drunk crowd on a Saturday night. That's how it will be on SNF opening night as well. Night games are always so much more exciting then day games IMO.

I agree, but the problem is I have been to SEVERAL games on SNF against division rivals that aren't loud at all like you'd expect. I've also been to a noon game against the Cardinals that was one of the loudest games of the regular season. Out crowd is weird.

In my opinion, if the Cowboys get consistently better the crowd will get louder

it can't get louder than it was last year.

Last years Thanksgiving game and the playoff game were as loud as it can get. It was awesome.

After Dallas tied the game and then kicked off against GB in the playoffs last year was the loudest moment I have ever heard in the building.

The tv went to commercial and while in commercial they were playing that rap song that I can't remember the name of and the place went completely bonkers. Babe said on the radio after the break that the hair on his arms was standing up and kristi on the sidelines said the level was 107 and rising and unbelievable.

If you were not there you have no idea what it was like but all the players were on the sideline going crazy and the crowd was the best it can get.

It was very similar to the Romo - Williams TD vs Detroit. It was deafening and in my ear brad was saying Finish the fight...the best call I have heard him make and in an amazing moment.

The crowds have done their part in recent years. The team needs to do its part going forward. No team could ask for more support and noise than the 2016 Cowboys got at home.

I am not sure how they top the Packers playoff game for noise after the comeback but I can't wait to find out.

Agreed, it was very loud. Song was 'Turn Down For What'. I was going nuts at that point!

Had nothing to do with the drinking, I don't think they were drinking anymore than usual just because it was a Saturday night.

The Cowboys need a bit. The Seahawks have the 12th Man Flag, the Vikings have that horn, we need something. Maybe Jerry making his entrance flying down from the roof each game
