I know we have heard and talked a lot about how quiet the stadium has been during some games during recent years, but I don't think I've ever heard a crowd in Dallas that loud for the final two plays of a preseason game, especially when there were third, fourth and fifth string players in the game.
You might expect that during the first half when the starters or even second string is in, but not at the end of the game with mostly guys who won't even be on the team once the season starts. The crowd was very loud on the last two plays, especially the last play.
Imagine being some of those players on the field who won't make it on any roster. That's a feeling and atmosphere they will never forget. Sure they probably heard much louder crowds during college, but this was a NFL preseason game where you expect a lot of fans to leave early to beat the traffic.
Edit: Yes, I know it's cheaper tickets .. blah blah blah .. but my point is that I do not remember ever hearing a crowd that loud at the end of a Cowboys preseason home game.
