Anyone still skeptical of the Dak & Zeke combo?

He's the Starting QB, that earned the spot, which means he also earns criticism when it warrants it, regardless of how long he's played.

I get it. I do.

He's playing, so he needs to be critiqued.

Again, he starts slow, throws high or off target at times. He's not perfect.

That said, I just find it difficult to be too cynical when A.) he's a rookie and B.) he's led us to a 9-1 record, thus far.

Yes, because they're rookies, especially come playoff time. They're doing something that's never been done before. Probabilistically, this means that it can't be sustained even though we can hope that it does. Currently, there is a lot of synergy and little adversity. It's called cautious optimism because a lot of players have started out fast and faded.

As I said, it's when the criticism happens. He didn't turn the ball over this week, so that's a plus.

I'm just doing a pulse check. I've already said it a couple of times but I love saying it...

Dak & Zeke will take us deep into the playoffs this year. So deep that we may need to invest in some scuba masks.

I would assume all of the naysayers are now securely on the wagon. Buckle up. There's plenty of Kool aid for everyone.

The one fear that I have is running into the Giants in the playoffs. These guys are still 2 games back, but how many times have we seen them get hot once the playoffs start. Would hate to revisit 2007 again.

Are you kidding me? Some people here think Dak is horrible and are surely upset that we won again. Not gonna call any names. To the OP... this combo is something special!!

I can't wait to see them again. Here's the interesting thing (in my eyes)... We are 9-1 and both Dak & Zeke haven't even really hit their stride. They're still figuring a few things out and we are freaking 9-1.

It's a beautiful thing to behold.

And since ... drumroll ... every quarterback in the league is 100 percent unsuccessful at putting points on the board every possession. There's a reason even the elite guys complete under 70 percent of their passes. There are misfires, misreads and sometimes just bad plays. Happens to everyone.

I thought today's performance was a dagger in the argument that Dak was a game manager. The running game was nonexistent, backed up on 1st and 30, and Dak went to work. The very next possession, needing points before the half, he marched down the field at a time when the running game again could not be a factor.

It continued into the second half, when the excellence of the passing game eventually made way for Zeke to start eating away at that defense.

Just a marvelous performance.

The combo is just too deadly! We are gonna maul you with the Oline and run it down your throat.... and if you slow that down, right when you think you're in it, Dak is gonna sling it to Dez or to Cole or to Witten or even to Brice!

Defense is bend but don't break so you better be extra efficienct in the red zone because we are gonna get the ball back and start grinding your azz again!!!

It is a winning formula. One that's pretty close to unflappable.
