Anyone still skeptical of the Dak & Zeke combo?

This momentum won't fade. It's real.
Momentum always fades, and competition gets more fierce toward the end of the season and into the playoffs. It's overcoming moments of adversity that determine whether teams can win championships.

Like today. Going against the #1 rush defense they placed the offense on Dak's shoulders and he responded. It's magical stuff man. I'm telling you.

How did they place it on his shoulders? They placed it on his shoulders the first half and gave Zeke 6 carries. He was getting hit plenty. That was a mistake and the board was bashing the play-calling of not giving Zeke the ball.

They started the second half feeding Zeke, fed him to the tune of 19 times, play-action was a major factor while the OL gave Dak plenty time to throw on the threat of that run.

Even when Frederik fumbled the snap, the Ravens didn't even break the line and Dak found slow-footed Witten on a crossing route across the field.

By the last drive, Baltimore was pulling Marinelli and giving WRs 10 yard cushions and Dak was hitting his first read basically every time.

This is a complete offense and Linehan is in a zone right now and the adjustments he made were on point.

Everybody on this forum said the Ravens played nobody and their run defense was over-rated. Maybe Zeke and this OL is just that good.

Zeke is the legitimate MVP and you give him Romo with this OL, who knows how great this offense can be.

Yep. It's like God blessed us with Zeke but made Prescott a package deal to keep things somewhat fair.

27 of 36 for 301 and 3TD. So what were you saying about them not leaning on Dak?

The team was down 7-0. That's not what is meant by adversity.

This team is very balanced. It relies on the offensive line and running game like it did two years ago, except we have a better runner and a better offensive line now. No one is disputing Dak played great in the second half. He's very composed and managing the game well, while hitting open receivers. But this team is not putting anything on Dak's shoulders. That's just a crazy thing to do to a rookie.

I will continue to call this FALSE logic. and you know what... I will leave it right there because I didn't create this thread to criticize Romo.

Did we watch the same game???

The run wasn't working well early so we started passing to setup the run.... Perhaps I'm blind...
Nope. 20/20...

I love Dak and his mental focus, but an honest assessment of the first half when Dallas went pass-happy shows he's shaky in intermediate throws when there is pressure.

The whole second half, Dak was basically untouched and that all started when Zeke was flat-out running ten yards on first down and then hurdled that one guy. It got Williams isolated on that one one one, and was wide open but Dak basically underthrew him and the Ravens guy didn't even turn around:

The last two drives, you could tell Ravens had no answer for the Cowboys.
They basically left the whole mid-field open, dropped back in coverage to prevent the deep ball and were trying to stop Zeke. They basically gave away the intermediate routes.

That strike to Dez, the Ravens tried to blitz to get pressure and left Dez wide open one on one. That showed how desperate they had become.

The OL with Zeke is basically death to opppsing defenses.

Huh? Zeke had 6 rushes for 28 yards. That's over 4 yards per carry which is a fine average for a running back. Dak's accuracy was primarily poor in the first half, but he made plays with his legs and dumped the ball off when nothing was open down the field or he was simply missing receivers. The only real great passing play he made was the throw (on the run) to Beasley in the end zone in the first half.

I'm just doing a pulse check. I've already said it a couple of times but I love saying it...

Dak & Zeke will take us deep into the playoffs this year. So deep that we may need to invest in some scuba masks.

I would assume all of the naysayers are now securely on the wagon. Buckle up. There's plenty of Kool aid for everyone.

Right now, you have ROY and MVP... on the same team...

You run six times the whole half and you say the run wasn't working? On the second series, Dak threw 5 times out of 7 plays and were gifted a couple penalties to feed Zeke, but they didn't.

So far so good. Dak is doing some really good things. If I had to vote for our MVP at this moment, it would be Zeek who would get my vote.
Zeek and this entire O line.

A lot of truth in this post. Prescott's in a very favorable situation but you still have to credit him for making plays to win games. On a weekly basis. The other stuff can be acknowledged though. You are correct. His arm still scares me.
