Anyone still skeptical of the Dak & Zeke combo?

Huh? Zeke had 6 rushes for 28 yards. That's over 4 yards per carry which is a fine average for a running back. Dak's accuracy was primarily poor in the first half, but he made plays with his legs and dumped the ball off when nothing was open down the field. The only real great passing play he made was the throw (on the run) to Beasley in the end zone in the first half.
Ok. You just confirmed it. We weren't watching the same game. Thanks.

A lot of truth in this post. Prescott's in a very favorable situation but you still have to credit him for making plays to win games. On a weekly basis. The other stuff can be acknowledged though. You are correct. His arm still scares me.

He's phenomenal for a rookie and doing what he needs to do. At times though, you can tell if he has to rely on his arm it's scary.

I think the biggest example of this was the bootleg where he tried to throw across the whole field to Williams..

You run six times the whole half and you say the run wasn't working? On the second series, Dak threw 5 times out of 7 plays and were gifted a couple penalties to feed Zeke, but they didn't.
Yeah. We were watching different games too. We were getting stuffed in the first half on the ground and the strategic shift to pass first opened up the run in the second half where Zeke enjoyed greater success.

Uhh...We scored our first TD with five minutes left in the first half. Yes, it's confirmed. You weren't watching the same game. The only long pass play was to Butler and the pass was short and was a great catch.

So far so good. Dak is doing some really good things. If I had to vote for our MVP at this moment, it would be Zeek who would get my vote.
Zeek and this entire O line.
An honest response not laced with hatred & innuendo. That's why I have always liked you.

He's great no doubt... I'm more than pleased. He's not like RG3, whose rookie season was built off deception. RG3 you could tell didn't go through his progression.
RGMe was a mirage. He has nothing close to the tools or vision Dak has to stand in there and utilize the pocket to your advantage. RGMe was a one read pony. If that read wasn't there, he was gone. Dak scans all reads sometimes twice thanks to that O-line.

I really love the way Dak stands in there and works the passing game when we all know his feet are nimble too. Pass first is the winning strategy in the pocket. Only run when your life depends in it.

At least he's not stuck with Garrett and Wade Wilson coaching the QB and offense.. :)

Plus, he's a class act.. and the team loves him.

Dak looked pretty shaky at times today. Seemed to fix it as the game went on.

I am a "start Romo" guy and still firmly believe he gives the team the best chance to win. Dak turned out a good performance today and made some impressive throws. He did have his struggles early though before the OL started imposing their will. These periods are occurring far too often for my tastes even if he does improve throughout the games at times.

He played well today, and has played well most of the season. Those of us who are in favor of Romo and who have criticized him don't dispute that. We just think there are some concerning issues that are limely to bite us in the end and that Romo provides the best opportunity for this team.

I love what Prescott is doing so far. But , I'm not convinced he's the QB of the future yet. I have to see him for 3 years. Everything points in the right direction for Dak but I've seen it too many times with young QB's.

Come on…cuz Romo's never had issues that bit us in the butt?

His absence has really distorted some fan's perceptions of what he could or couldn't do.
