I'd rather have DMC at this point. More Versatile, doesn't fumble and is now willing to play special teams oh and comes MUCH CHEAPER.

if elliot had been drafted by the vikings last year, he would have probably had a 3.5 avg.
Minn cant run block, they were bad with and without ap.
With the dallas line he could probably do pretty good.

Dallas could offer him a 1 mil a year deal with incentives , if that were the case then I say take him.

For 8 million he won't be here. Surprised he's not a Giant or Packer by now, that would suck.
i would consider it just to keep him away from those teams

AP makes the pack and the gints instant SB contenders imo

He wants $8 mil, and be a starter. Neither will happen here. Right now, nothing much will happen for all tams, at all positions until after the draft.
Unless some of these players sign cheap contracts, which will not happen, or most likely will not.
They are vet players, they can avoid off season workouts, sit back and wait until the injuries pile up, then take their best deal.

His value is very low because he has been injured 2 of the last 3 years and he is 32 years old. He could very well be done.

He does? How? I guess that you think he will rush for more than 72 yards this year.

Peterson is an awful fit for a backup running back.

He would be a good player if Zeke went down but he is useless besides that. He is basically a rich man's Alfred Morris. He offers nothing to the receiving game and he will need more than 6-8 carries to get his groove. If you aren't going to give Peterson 15-20 carries a game, he is a waste.

As far as an aging, injury prone veteran---I would choose Jamaal Charles if I had to. He would offer more as a change of pace back and he is also a threat in the passing game.

Anyone here that seriously thinks Adrian Peterson would sign on to be a backup behind a 300+ carry workhorse RB, raise your hands.

I don't think so. He is probably close to being done.

I did see that the Pack isn't interested.

I will say though, if any RB can play at that age right now, its AP. Especially in a balanced offense.

I don't think that the Cowboys will offer him anything because they are considering drafting a running back that could and would be better for them.
