A law enforcement official tells The Associated Press that the Los Angeles County coroner ruled Michael Jackson's death a homicide.

The finding makes it more likely criminal charges will be filed against the doctor who was with the pop star when he died.

The official says the coroner determined a fatal combination of drugs was given to Jackson hours before he died in his rented Los Angeles mansion on June 25. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because the findings have not been publicly released.

Forensic tests found the powerful anesthetic propofol in Jackson's system along with two sedatives, the official says.

Dr. Conrad Murray, Jackson's personal physician, is the target of a manslaughter probe headed by Los Angeles police.

Really stupid of the physician. Everyone I've heard speak about the propofol says it should never be used outside an operating room setting.

It looks like they may try to make an example of this guy, putting all of these "doctors to the celebrities" on notice.

Malpractice is malpractice regardless.

Saw a deal on it the other night. NBC nightly news or CBS, one of the evening news shows. They say it only last about 7 minutes in small doses so people take it 25-30 time a day, and these are injections:eek:

They say he suffered from severe insomnia.

Well, the good doctor solved that problem, now then didn't he?

Was it really homicide, or did they just find a fall guy?

Nancy Grace, what do you think?

Oh, man. If that becomes the topic of the next few weeks again on the news, I may just get rid of my TV altogether.

This is a good question.
Jackson was a grown man, living in the 21st century. He made his decisions and this is the consequence. Conversely the Dr is a **** head, because the dollar obviously trumped the hippocratic oath and he either didn't care, was too ignorant or just plain arrogant (which is basically the same as ignorant), in thinking he should be prescribing something like this.

They've both hubbed the hell of their own decisions and neither is a victim. No skin off my ***.

...and no, I am not Nancy Grace.

Greed kills. I saw this guy on TV. He will probably kill himself like that guy in Canada did.

Bubye!

As for Jackson, he is just as guilty.

Good question.

Negligant homicide is about the stiffest charge they could probably make stick.

I hope they have some protection for this doctor, because I could see one of Jackson's more delussional fans going after the guy.

I bet most of Hollywood is overmedicated having all their private doctors in their back pocket.

Of course they do look no further than Heath Ledger and the deadly cocktail the doctors pumped in him

It not just the Doctors I blame but also the people everyone is looking for the miracle pill to cure common things they could help easy if they change their lifestyle from foods to exercise etc, etc.
