DALLAS COWBOYS (18)

Chris Berman (ESPN, 17) - December may have begun early.

Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 16) - Capable of teasing you, but they are incapable of playing consistently.

Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 19)

Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 19) - This team is a mess, what more can I say other then you just never know what you're going to get each week.

Bob Glauber (Newsday, 16) - Jason Garrett sure didn't do much to help his cause. Another poor effort in a home loss to the Commanders has Dallas barely clinging to hope and Garrett barely clinging to his job.

Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 19) - The Cowboys spent $50 million on a free-agent cornerback and traded up into the top 10 to get the best corner in the 2012 draft. Yet the Cowboys have a league-low five interceptions.

Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 17) - The good news: Three of their next four games are home. The bad: Three of their next four games are home. The Cowboys are 15-14 there.

Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 18) - They need a breather, and here come the reeling Eagles.

Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 19) - Say anything negative about the Cowboys situation and the fans call you a Cowboy hater. OK. They're a great team that's misunderstood. Once again is the talent overrated?

John Lynch (Fox Sports, 19) - Not what the Cowboys were hoping for. RG3'd on Thanksgiving.

Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 18) - A third straight season at .500 or less is in the offing with all the injuries the Cowboys have suffered.

Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 18) - They let RG3 come into their house and eat their Thanksgiving turkey.

Rich Gannon is an idiot.

We know exactly what we are going to get each week.

And it ain't pretty.

Our talent is not overrated, if its rated to be around average to slightly less than average. If its rated to be more, its overrated.

Bottom line is you don't win in this league if you have a severely negative turnover ratio. And we have one.

You don't win a lot of you are one of the most penalized teams. And we are.

And its harder to win if you have an above average amount of injuries, which we have had.

There is a reason we don't force turnovers and get so many penalties. But for the life of me, I have no idea what that reason is. Probably a function of talent.
