1. Texans - trade with Falcons
Falcons - Jadeveon Clowney DE South Carolina
2. Rams - Sammy Watkins WR Clemson
3. Jaguars - Greg Robinson T Auburn
4. Browns - Blake Bortles QB UCF
5. Raiders - Derek Carr QB Fresno State
6. Texans - Jake Mathews T Texas A&M
7. Bucaneers - Khalil Mack DE Buffalo
8. Vikings - Teddy Bridgewater QB Louisville
9. Bills - Mike Evans WR Texas A&M
10. Lions - Darqueze Dennard CB Michigan State
11. Titans - Johnny Manziel QB Texas A&M
12. Giants - CJ Mosely LB Alabama
13. Rams - Taylor Lewan T Michigan
14. Bears - Aaron Donald DT Pittsburgh
15. Steelers - Eric Ebron TE North Carolina
16. Cowboys - Anthony Barr DE UCLA
Demarcus Wares replacement and a solid peice to a DL that Marinelli is piecing together. Has 2 yrs playing defense and is showing the obvious...alot of talent is there. Ceiling is high. Show deceptive strength for his size.

RD2
Davante Adams WR Fresno State
WR who can challenge to start but can playing the slot aswell as the outside. Gives Dallas another redzone threat, as TW doesnt seem to be that threat opposite Dez. Marinelli seems to like these big body WRs.

RD3
Telvin Smith LB Florida State
Gives the Cowboys that option to move Carter over to the SAM spot. Would need to add a few pounds. Stronger then you would think. At the least can play in sub packages that exposed some of Carter weaknesses. Has that speed Marinelli likes in his players.

RD4
Cyril Richardson G Baylor
Bad guy to watch in a Sr bowl enviroment, but you watch him in a game and you know he can dominate a player. If he dropped to RD4 would be a big steal for the Cowboys. Starter from day 1.

RD5
Ben Gardner DE Stanford
Guy has a motor that doesnt stop. Makes alot of plays behind the LOS. Can play inside and outside.

RD6
Trade 2 RD7 picks to get into the RD6
Aaron Colvin CB Oklahoma
Pick for '15 and probably Carr's release.

RD7(KC)
Eathyn Manumaleuna DT BYU
Quick 1tech type Marinelli likes. Wont get alot of sacks but he knows how to hit gaps inside to create havoc.

RD7(COMP)
Jonotthan Harrison C Florida
A guy who can play all 3 inside spots. Athletic for his size and strong. Could be one of them late round gems

RD7(COMP)
Jake Mathews QB Cornell
I can see JG making this call

RD7(COMP)
Ryan Hewitt FB Stanford
Hard nose Football player.

Liked it, but I wish it had more DL help. Or just some earlier DL help.

Love it all apart from Richardson. Not a fan of his at all.
Give me DT in round 4, Reid for example or Lache Seastrunk at RB and that is a home run haul.

Texans aren't gonna take a LT when they have a top 5 guy in Duane Brown but I see they can still have the pick of the litter between Teddy and Johnny Football. Another name I dont see in the top 15 which we need to go before us with a chance at Barr is Justin Gilbert. 2 Corners in the top 15 will really help our chances at Barr alongwith one of the Safeties.

Thanks for the effort.

For me
16) Barr...sweet
47) Adams. ..Don't like this (though the player is very good). Tons of good WRs later, but imo. 47 in a very high value pick this year and we have way greater needs.
Rd3) T Smith...really good. If Barr can play the 4-3 DE, then having both T Smith and Barr rushing could be amazing in a year or two.
Rd4) Richardson....meh
Rd5) Gardner....seems really early for this player...can use one of those spare 7ths most likely
Rd6) Colvin....I agree that we will pick in the 6th round. Two 7s could do it. Colvin has some upside. I find CB Aiken's (Liberty) intriguing as well.
Rd7) Manumaleuna...I could see it
Rd7 other) 3 picks are all ok...I guess you expect to put the QB on the practice squad. I'd try to get him as an UDFA in that case.

Donte Moncrief (Ole Miss WR) inthe 2nd Rd

Lache Seastrunk (Baylor) RB inthe 4th Rd

Aaron Colvin 5th instead of 6th

Make those changes & you'll be cooking with fire

I don't get you guys wanting to burn a 2nd rounder this year, of all years, on a WR.
We have a ton of desperate, almost catastrophic needs, on defense...and the WR class is extremely deep.

But that's what fan forums are for, open dialog :)

The Cowboys can't fix all of their problems anyway. This is obviously a rebuild type year. They need to just get as many talented players as possible.

Talking Cowboys made a great point the other day. They were talking about using these 3 comp picks to draft players they would normally have to outbid teams to get as UDFA. Smart thinking if you ask me

A couple of us have mentioned that strategy here; definitely agree.

I'd be really shocked if they use all six 7th rounders, seeing that we have no picks right now in the 6th. But what you mentioned would be a good way to hedge their bets at the very end of the draft on some their favorite UDFA candidates.

So youre suggesting Dallas to pass up BPA for a certain need? Thats smart

You said that, I didn't.
Don't put words in my mouth and the throw insults for no legit reason.
That's not smart. :)

If a WR is the last player left on your highest tier (before the next gap in BPA drop off) then there are two choices, IMO.
Take the player or trade down.
Of course,we don't even know the 1st part of that equation yet, so the two choices may not even be necessary.
