I think the way to play Eli is to try and get him out of the pocket and to take away the short dink-n-dunk stuff.
SF did well to move him out of the pocket, but they left short, easy passes wide open.
The Eagles struggled early on everything, but then they finally took away the short, easy passes.
I think with Crawford and Hardy we'll need to get some pressure from the inside to help flush Eli out. Hardy could get some time at DT on passing downs leaving us with Lawrence and Gregory at the DE. And of course, Crawford can reek havoc on 1st and 2nd down.
Like you said, if we can get more pressure, that means more zone coverage in between the numbers and hopefully more interceptions.
