Are other NFC teams rooting for us?

I keep on hearing about how this game is supposed to be an indicator of where the NFC stands in relation to the AFC. If that's the case, are other NFC teams rooting for us for conference pride? Obviously our division opponents aren't, but I guess it's possible that some others are.

Does anybody have any friends who are fans of other NFC teams who can shed some light on this?

uh, i doubt it. there isn't something like "conference pride".

nfc teams will be rooting against us because us losing helps their playoff chances and seeding.

When it's NFC vs AFC, always root for the AFC team (except when we're playing of course).

I doubt any NFC teams are pulling for us... one of my best friends is a Green Bay fan, and he wants us to lose so the Packers can pull even with us.

I believe the Skins, Eagles, and Giants fans are rooting for NE to kill us.

Honestly-I feel we'll be getting ALOT of fans(including our fellow Steeler rivals) rooting for us b/c of all the floods of hate the national sports media is sticking to us, combined with all this overt-ly love-fest the Pats are getting.

I figure the only players rooting for us are the Colts. Just like us, they'd love to see the Patriots taken down a few pegs. Really doubt any most players on other teams will do so. Every NFC team wants us to lose cause they might benefit. Just weight til Skinnies & Giants face the Patriots and get creamed. Wonder what their excuses will be. If we do lose to the Patriots, sure hope we give them an all out good battle and keep it real close.

Lots of AFC fans rooting for us:

Chargers fans, Colts fans, etc

I know one Giants fan who's rooting for us, but he's a joint Giants-Chargers fan.

Uhhh, I can't imagine many NFC teams rooting for us, especially NFCE teams. I know for certain the deadskins fans are praying that we get totally annihilated.

Any AFC team who thinks they have a legitimate shot at the Super Bowl will probably be rooting for us.

Oh, and probably other AFC teams who are just sick of the Pats beating up on them over the past 4-5 years.

Its probably the opposite.

The NFC fans are definitely going for the Patriots.

And the AFC fans are going for the Cowboys.

No, this is not college.

When an SEC team plays a PAC 10 team, usually all the teams in the conference will root for their respective teams. Brings pride to the conference.

No suck loyalty in the NFL.

There's only 2 kinds in today's NFL. Cowboys fans, and everyone else. No one but a Cowboy fan will be rooting for the 'Boys on Sunday. All others will we rooting for the 'Boys to lose, no matter the foe.

You mean like the Cowboys beat the hell out of your team?

Hey, don't feel left out...your team has two *'s too! But, not to worry, maybe a strike season will come someday and then you can win another SuperBowl...

I know, sure as hell I was rooting for the Bears over the Packers, and I actually like the Packers too.
