You'd be right if everyone had the same opinion of him. One man's trash is another man's treasure. Trade him.

Nah he's a bum and overrated. It has to be fact. Other teams would know this if they watch the same game you do.

I was a career military man (20 yrs of service) but I did manage to find time to get my Bachelor of Science Information Technology (BSIT) from the Community College of the Air Force. :)

Thanks for sharing...I had 23 years Service, and was a Cadet at the Air Force Academy.

I have a BA, and one year at Western State Law School in Los Angeles...before enlisting during Viet Nam.

I served most of my time in the Army...

I also had 17 years-Postal, and a Security Guard/licensed Emergency Response Member...more recently. I became an ERT, at age 65. (fire, rescue, recovery, hazmat/confined spaces)

This thread will get me benched. I think it was two Dez threads that have gotten me benched thus far (and maybe a Gameday Thread sprinkled in there somewhere :))

There's a whole lot of insufferable in this thread. And with that, have it, y'all.

I'll always have your six, Sir...you aren't alone in being civil.

Please, have my six, CC. Just don't call me "sir" :D

:) Lol...I work for a living also.

Sorry about the reference to Sir. I grew up in South Texas and when I was a youth here, that was showing respect. Old habit there...and my nickname in the Postal Union, was Sir Bob, because of that reflex response.

No worries, CC. Just an Army joke I knew you would appreciate :)

I, too, use sir/ma'am when addressing others. Just not my battles or they'll let me have it!

They could actually practice life without Dez right now with the 2-3 games per year he decides to disappear.

I like Dez and love the intensity he plays with. A championship next season with him in the middle of it will cure all ails.

Go Cowboys! Gitter Done!

:starspin:

You clearly haven't spent enough time in this forum. Repeat after me: All is lost. We'll never make it. 6-10.

The mistake Dallas made was not franchising Bryant when they had the chance. They are paying for it now. Should have franchised him twice and had the option of letting him walk. If or when his guaranteed money is paid out Dez will soon after be gone. Too much money for far too little return. This is a different FO and players like Bryant eat up too many valuable resources.
This is the last year of guaranteed money. His next two year's salary is not guaranteed. They would save 8.5m cap by cutting him next offseason (he would count 8 vs. 16.5). So if you are correct, this will his last season here.

I'm not saying what should be done, just pointing out the logical conclusion of your statement.

After the 2nd giants game I believe we started using dez more effectively. Him and Dak chemistry was Alot better. That packers game was a sign of future things to come. Dez took that damn game over. Health is an issue, he plays physical. I believe he will be faster being 100% and I expect a 2014 performance with him. Like I said dez and the Dak connection really started to pick up after that giants game.

thelandryhat puts out lame articles and many times I avoid them. I do not recall that site always being this way though so perhaps a turn over in writers?

I don' think they are close to cutting him anytime soon, but he is getting paid a lot of money and will continue to. If he can't connect with Dak this year we may speed up the process in looking for another #1 WR.
Wouldn't shock me if we did draft a receiver if one fell to us, that the team just loves, in the first three rounds. Sure they want to nab some defensive players first, but value is value.
