Are the Giants a "hangover" game?

I loved this win vs Seattle but I'm a little worried about our game next week. The Giants just got humiliated after a week of smack talk, and next week is their last fighting chance to stay relevant in the playoff chase. I understand that good teams win anyway, but I can't shake the feeling that the Cowboys are riding high after this win and maybe overlook the Giants next week.

Thoughts?

Giants aren't a good team. Period.

Houston was their best win but besides that they beat two freefalling teams.

They can be as mad and fired up as they want they still stink. Look at their schedule coming up they'll have 7 losses by the beginning of December.

Anything can happen in a division rivalry but I see us winning this by 2 scores at least.

as well as Garrett and the staff did for preparing for the Seattle game, the upcoming game vs. the Giants will tell us a lot about their mettle imo

can they keep their guys focused, heads out of the clouds, not get too complacent, and prepare with the exact amount of fervor for New York as they did for Seattle?

I'm not that worried. This team is too focused and locked in and they will definitely NOT overlook the Giants. If there is any team in this league to Cowboys won't overlook it is the Giants. They are a division foe and I believe we will be ready and win.

If the Cowboys don't get ramped up for the Giants at home then they deserve to lose. I don't think they will.

Anything can happen obviously, but not real worried about this game.

If we happen to lose tho, the ledge will be crowded and there will be cries for Red's head on a platter.

This game is why i dont talk about stats, Come this sunday forget all stats, forget all records, forget what you think you sort of knew. When that ball is kicked both those teams turn into things they are not, nor are sometimes, and they duke it out. It is, clearly the few times football turns into boxing. And Dallas and the Giants duke it out most times. You usually dont get a score to dicate the winner, you get a boxing result.

Everything goes out the window and you get a divisional fight that is most times gruesome. I dont know if its possible thsi year, but im not going to count it out.

Winning this many in a row is tough. Win or lose I still think we do extremely well this season. I expect a win by a significant margin though.

If this team is different than previous years teams then I do not expect this to be hangover team, we got past the look past houston game, we went in and did the "inconceivable" in Seattle, if this wormis turning they need to come out and whup up on a giants team without its most established receiver.

This is setting up to make it a "hangover game". The press will be much more involved with this team and players have a tendency to start reading their own press clippings and those of how bad the Giants are. It will be interesting to see if or how JG handles this with the players. I recall Jimmy Johnson did a pretty good job keeping the press in check while keeping his players grounded on Sunday's

I don't see how the Cowboys could overlook a division opponent. Could the Cowboys potentially lose? Sure, it's the NFL. I think we're gonna smoke 'em though.

Losing Cruz for the season did not do them any favors. They dont have a lot on offense to be scared of in my opinion.

I think the offensive line is going to be fired up, wanting to Murray to break Jim Brown's record of consecutive games with 100 yards to start the season.

Manning always seems to equalize with a bomb over someone's head. Doesn't matter who catches it. It's time for Crawford & Spencer to finally make it home.

I think this is a different team we are seeing and I don't think they will look past the Giants. It's any given Sunday. I really hope the Boys stay focused on the "process" and prepare for the Giants as if they were 5-0.
