Are there really fans that would rather still have Garrett?

Not only did he "have a say in it", both were "his guys" and ended up here as a direct result of either a direct connection to Garrett or a direct connection to someone who was directly connected to Garrett. Anyone who tries to tell you that any coaches were forced on Garrett is lying to you.
Yep,, everybody wants to be a hero, and you cant be a hero unless you make your own rules and succeed.
Garrett failed, and while he will never be considered a hero, failed catastrophically,, he did succeed in banking a large amount of Jerry cash.

I can't go thru over 260+ posts just to say - he is PERFECT where he is now....makes one of our division opponents "less"

It sure seems like Jerry, and the country club atmosphere that he created in Dallas, is getting a total pass around here. Garrett had his shortcomings, no doubt, but MM will face the same problems and chances are he may do worse under these conditions. When players know that they can go straight to Jerry instead of answering to the coach, the results may be even worse for MM because he doesn’t have the relationship with Jerry that Garrett had. Fans are strung themselves up for a big disappointment if they think that things are suddenly going to change after all of these years. Garrett’s departure was long overdue, but MM is sure not going to change things and he may respond to the situation even worse than previous coaches.

Let's not count MM out. It's not up to us, it's up to HIM to make the right choices. It appears that the Jones' are allowing MM more latitude than they gave to puppet Garrett, I'm optimistic for now.

Jerry has not given up power to any coach since Jimmy was here. I don’t expect that to change now. It won’t be long until Jerry is telling reporters about the changes with the team and MM won’t even know about until Jerry orders him to make the change. Jerry can’t help himself.

Listening to The Fan and here them discussing this and getting fan texts saying this staff is not better than the last one.. LMAO! Are these the same folks who feel the Earth is flat by any chance?

Some of the coaches are not good hires.

Nolan? Really?!?

Philbin?

Our assistant head coach isn't even a coach.

Linguist who?
