Are Washington and Oakland must wins now?

I'd say yes to Washington because it's a division game, home game and we can't afford to lose another NFC game. Oakland may not be a must win, but if the Cowboys lose to them, it will hard to be optimistic going forward.

Yes for this reason: The schedule gets difficult in December, and these two games are by far the easiest remaining on the schedule. Gotta win those.

Say what you want about losing to Green Bay, but they're a borderline .500 team and it was a road game. Washington and Oakland are two of the most unstable franchises.

Lose either game and suddenly you've got to beat a San Diego, New Orleans or New York just to "make up" for the loss.

In a word, YES. We lose at home to either of those pathetic teams and we will most likely crumble.

Yes 8-3 going into a tough December stretch is necessary for us imo.

Yep. they are.

I am not worried about todays game at all as stange as that sounds. I think we were in a tough spot today and made a bunch of mistakes.

Win the washington and oakland games and then hit reset on the season.

The season should start in NY on december 3rd.

I am confident in the team for the next two weeks. I think in an odd way this might be good for the team minus the injuries and I am also confident in the giants game.

In the long run I would love to see GB at Cowboys stadium in the playoffs.

It's certainly possible as Green Bay has moved into the #6 seed spot today and we are currently the #3 seed.

I agree with all of this. If we do meet GB again (at home please), I believe it will be a much different game. I can't believe how futile our offense was today. I wasn't aware we only ran it 11 times until I heard it after the game. Bad game plan and even worse execution.

You could almost make the case, that if we take care of business down the stretch, this green bay win could hurt the giants down the road.

Especially if the giants lose to atlanta, which I am+6+ not sure they will do.

I think the NYFG beat Atl next week. A bye to get their heads somewhat straight and they'll be ready to roll again.

Atl needs the win badly too.

edit: NYG at home.

Today's loss hurt us in more ways than just adding another L to our win/loss column. Had we won, we would have pretty much buried Green Bay as far as the playoffs go. We would have basically had a 3 game lead on them and the tiebreaker. Now, if we don't win the division, we better hope we don't finish with the same record as Green Bay because they now own the tiebreaker. We're only a game up on them right now and we have a much tougher schedule left.

okay real simple, all games are must wins, you just dont win all of them. Its what you do with a loss that defines your season.

i'm glad washington won today. it will make us pay attention that much harder. i don't care if they have sucked all year. all bets are off when it's a big rival. especially when we are so inconsistent, ourselves. anyone who thinks we are incapable of losing next week needs to come back down from la la land.

Not as much must win, as expected wins. We are talking one really bad team and one god awful train wreck. You gotta win those at home.

not really we need about 10-11 wins to make the playoffs. We don't have to win these 2 games but it sure would make things a lot easier if we did
