I just want to know what everyone thinks. Are we just getting bye on the talent Parcell's have brought in. I can't make polls so hopefully someone can make this a poll for me.

Absolutely we are, Roy, Peterman, Rogers, Julius, Skyler, Torrin Tucker, Petiti........outstanding talent. What was Parcell's record again, and with all this talen he brought in?

I think some of the talent he brought in has been good and some not so good same since Wade has been here there have seen some good players brought in and some not so good.

Turned Gurode into something. Got Columbo for nothing. Raised Flo's level of play. Got us a solid LG in Kosier. Romo, Barber, Crayton, Austin, Witten, Ware, Ratliff, Spears, Newman, James.

I think most teams would take a stretch with that sort of talent acquisition. Every team has busts but few end up with a handful of guys are are top 5 at their positions (Ware, Witten, and Rat)

So pretty much like every team in the league?

I never said he was perfect and you forget Carpenter. But the foundation of our team seems to have come from drafts which parcells had a hand in. Although his record maybe have been I believe 23-23. Who knows what would of happened if he was there next year.

Pretty much. I had no problem with Parcells and yes I think he left behind some good quality players I also see some good quality players being added to this team now.

This pole is almost as lopsided as the one ESPN had asking if Romo can win a SB with the Cowboys.

Again, it is no coincidence that the talent level improved significantly when Big Bill arrived at Valley Ranch.

I firmly believe that the talent level was so bad when Big Bill arrived, that it was going to take quite a bit of time to start winning consistently.

I remember Norm Hitzges writing an article several years ago outlining how he felt the Cowboys had the worst drafts of any team during the Post-Jimmy/Pre-Parcells Days.

Bill Parcells literally handed Wade Phillips the keys to a Lamborgini.

Besides, if Tony Romo doesn't bobble the snap in Seattle, Big Bill gets the Playoff Monkey off the back of the Dallas Cowboys.

No if we were our QB wouldnt be slinging INTs at will and losing big games.
If he wouldn have stayed one more year we would have went far.
If Choko wouldnt have dropped that snap we would have went far.

What's it going to be then, eh?

But what about Peterman, Rogers, Julius, Skylar, Torrin Tucker and Pettiti? What about them? Huh?

But you still see very short-sighted fans who to this day refuse to acknowledge that. All they have is the anger that they didn't get their Super Bowl they thought was a foregone conclusion the day he was hired. They look at five hundred football and don't even bother to acknowledge that level of respectability wasn't even possible if he wasn't here and we were stuck with the Dave Campos of the coaching world.

And if there is any doubt about what else Bill Parcells did, look at even how Jerry Jones behaves. If he sat down and could be honest if his ego allowed it, he would admit he learned more about the game of football from the four years under Parcells than he did the remaining sixteen years of his ownership tenure.

He wasn't popular, he didn't embrace the fans or the franchise, so people hold it against him. Hate the gift giver if you must but appreciate the gift.

Jerry's been openly appreciative of what Bill Parcels brought to the Cowboys, and I believe he's on record saying how much he learned about the game from working with Bill. The rest of your point might be right on, but the dig at Jerry wasn't important or accurate.

You seem a little bit bitter. Thanks for making this a poll host.

Also I think we are living from the foundation parcells built. Wade hasn't brought us an impact player yet. There's no one you can say that's Wade's guy. Yeah parcells missed in drafts just like Wade has but wade hasn't done anything to improve upon what bill parcells built. That may or may not be because of Jerry however, their hasn't been much improvement.

I'm beginning to think BP's plan the entire time was 1. to get money, he was broke after his divorce, and 2. to eventually sabatoge us by going to a 3-4 defense and drafting / signing more bad players than good. He couldn't do 100% bad, so had to leave us with a few decent playes to make it look good.

The bad thing is...I myself don't even know if I'm serious or joking.....:bang2:

Anyway, I voted NO.

Like I've said, Parcells was the only good thing to happen to this team since Super Bowl XXX, and it's no coincidence that we've been in a slow tailspin since he left.

Anyone who questions Romo's talent is purely ********. There's no accountability and discipline in his game. That comes from a LACK OF COACHING. He hasn't earned the right to be a "gunslinger" like Favre. Those things come after you've won a Super Bowl or at least a few playoff games to prove yourself.

If Parcells had stayed on during that 13-3 season, who knows where this franchise would be right now. The sky was the limit. Instead, we're back to dealing with Jerry in his raw and uninhibited form again.

We have the talent...we just need a RESPECTABLE coach who demands accountability. This will come in the form of a Shanahan or Cowher type.

That's the big thing just like after Jim Johnson jerry hires switzer galey and campo then hires BP and then Wade. Jerry's ego needs to be halted because he's doing more harm than good I really think Jerry should higher a GM>
