In a year where the #1 pick is up in the air this late into the process.....I'm not sure what to think now.

IMO the Texans want to trade down w/ the Falcons.....and take QB Blake Bortles.

And that maybe this story is a smoke screen to throw teams off in the QB hunt.

No idea..could be trying to generate interest in the top spot not only for teams in the QB hunt, but those wanting Clowney too.

I really do like Clowney better as a 4-3 DE.

Mack seems like a really nice fit for the 3-4 OLB.

It's not far-fetched that they would prefer Mack in their scheme.

Yes because many days ago I was thinking that the Texans would be smart and choose Mack. Mack is safe and his potential will be probably the same as Clowney because Clowney will never work hard enough to see his ceiling.

I know Mayock has been on record saying Mack over Clowney from pretty much day 1...so it's not too far fetched. The only real question I see on Mack is level of competition while Clowney's mental makeup has been in question for a while now

I personally would still take Clowney though.

I think the Texans are meeting with Manziel and Clowney today or tomorrow. I don't think Mack is a serious consideration. I think they take Clowney.

Clowney does not seem like a good fit in a 3-4 defense.

They'll take Manziel. It's the only way for them to be competitive with the Cowboys in this state.

They need a QB (Bortles/Manziel) but Clowney would be a very nice addition to pair with Watt but Mack is the safest choice. Wouldn't blame them either way.


If I were Houston it's QB, the one QB they like the most...Warren Bridgewater is pick for the Oliers....uhmm Texans.
