Are you expecting the extra prep time to make a difference?

On Thanksgiving obviously we had a short turn around with our QB nursing several injuries I'm sure having really three days of prep time was especially taxing. Now that we're heading into Philly off ten days rest how much of a difference will that make for us? Philly is coming off what I'd call a bruising game as well I'm just hoping Romo will be more on point & also to get better play out of the O-line this time around.

I think it makes a tremendous difference. Not only has it goes Tony more time to rest and strengthen his back anyone who saw the game will tell you that Romo wasn't himself on the short rest.

I think it was probably the worst I've seen him look since week 1

What's it going to be then, eh?

This.

Add Romo getting into his normal routine and getting a shot and overall experience of just playing them will make a bigger differance.

Well, Romo is why I consider the rest situation relevant to begin with.

Well you certainly called out the disaster that was awaiting from playing on Sunday night.

Absolutely. The biggest thing is getting the oline ready to play this time around. We get 10 days. Philly coming off a physical game against seattle. Of course it'll make a difference.

It would be interesting to see what team's records are the week after playing the hawks. I am too lazy to do the work but I would venture to guess with their physical style it wouldn't be all that great.

I think it helps major. JG needs to be agressive from the go with his game plan. NO more slow starts,

can't remember where I read or saw it but IIRC the last 7 teams that lost to Seattle lost the following week

As far as expectations about the coming game, I'm too afraid to have any, seemingly every time I feel confident about some outcome (good or bad) it blows back in my face, the last game being a prime example. As I sat down for turkey dinner, I told my dad this game my be a shootout but no way we're getting blown out and then.......

right square in the nuts before half time even ended

Not enough importance given to prep and coaching in this thread...of course rest for romo will help...but prep for the defense is huge

It was obvious as heck they weren't prepared the first go round..how could anyone suggest the extra time isn't important?

We were out coached in a big way the first Game

There will be a huge difference for the players but it is up to the coaches to install a good game-plan and have them mentally prepared. I am not sure if the end result will be any different but I think they at least look competent this go-round.

The Seattle game was 41:56-18:04 Hawks.

Yes. Without a doubt. We were a tired team on thanksgiving and we played like it. Jut had no emotion or fire. Very lethargic. I'm expecting a totally different cowboys team this go round

Rest time for Murray, Romo and McClain and we get Heath (ST), Patmon and Lawrence back.

9 days of dissecting every angle on both sides of the ball.

These two factors will be huge for us and I have no doubt we will come out the complete opposite on Thanksgiving.
