From the epicenter of Truth, Justices and the Armenian Way of Life, Air Cowboys America, winner of no Peabody Awards, from Farmers Branch where we eat good and we strive to be good neighbors if you look right.

:starspin:starspin:starspin:starspin:starspin
Yes, the booing was called for as the first half ended, but boy howdy did them Cowboys crank it up both offensively and defensively.

Lots of pluses

1. RW had a great game with 74 yards in several catches. The one in the end zone he missed was poorly thrown.
2. Ourn defense, I thought, was plainly a work in progress. But yew cant argue with two sacks and two INTs and the promise of future pressure up the middle.
3. I dunno, but I think Wade might have done a good job at halftime, telling his mens to play harder and smarter.
4. Flo did not get four penalties!!! That's progress for this dunce.
5. And lastly but not leastly, DO WE HAVE DEPTH IN RUNNING BACKS?
tHE ANSWER IS YETH!

game ball to Butler/Choice/Witten (for his catchin' and blocking)

I love yew Cowboys!
I am happier than a farmer with a subsidy check!!!!

The fade to R-Dub was a good pass by Tony. We shoulda had six there.

And the word yew looks annoying as hell. That and "hella" should only be in a 14 year old's vocab.

The ball hit Roy in BOTH hands. While it may not have been *the perfect pass* it was there and without question, should have been caught!

The failure here was on Roy, not Romo. You got that completely wrong.

I agree. Romo put the ball where it had to be and RW should have come down with it.

OK, Negative Nancy.
I am Roy's biggest critic. He made my heart glad last nite with his effort.
Yew can take that path. I will take the hi rode.
Roy was stretching and falling and I give him credit for that.

Not to nit pick but...

RW had 4 catches which would be more like a couple. Should have been 5 with a TD. Witten had several with 9.

The D produced 3 sacks, 2 INTs and recovered a forced fumble.

449 yards and 15 points (1TD, 2 FG's, 1 two point conv.).

points win games, not yards. Offense shot themselves in the foot all night.

Stupid penalties, bad play calling. Can't pick up the blitz. Still some work to be done.

We had 449 yards total offense? Wow! Now that may sound good, but if you put it in context -- that those 449 yards yielded only 14 offensive points --then it sounds terrible. Actually, it sounds like we're leaving points on the field. Again!

The problem is we were playing a defense that isnt very good and made a ton of mental errors on offense. Couple that with Garrett's "questionable" playcalling, and you get a very lukewarm performance. despite what the numbers say.

Garrett just seems to call plays for no particular reason. We run the same 3 running plays all game, made no real effort to set up a playaction pass with all the draws we run, throw two fades from the 1 yard line, etc.

uhh no, the failure was 100% on Jason Garrett for calling a pass play on not only 3rd and Goal at the 1 but on 4th and Goal at the 1 too

Look, fine gentlemens, all I no is that we have another W.
Our ground game was penominal.
RW gave a good effort. Not to overlook Witten, our primary receiver.
And yew're right. we are leaving points on the field. I hope Wade and Jason can fine-tewn the effort as we go along.
Most important, we live to play another day and we gits breathing room for the afourmentioned fine-tewning.
I, for one, am glad. Yes there were negatives but the positives far outway the film negatives.:)

A pass that hits the receivers opened hands is a "poorly thrown" pass?
The pass was thrown EXACTLY where it should have been, only Roy didn't HOLD ONTO IT. Period.

No, the Failure still falls on Roy. You can't go back & blame OTHER plays not being called when a play that WAS called SHOULD HAVE been CAUGHT.

Roy has been quoted by numerous media outlets (DMN, dallascowboys.com, etc........) that "HE" dropped the ball. Hmmmmmm, a WR that actually admits he dropped the ball........what a strange occurence in these here parts

In fairness, we have rushed for over 460 yards in the last 2 weeks... If all you need is 3 plays to do that so be it. I know you were being sarcastic with the 3 plays thing but our running game is hardly something to complain about.
