New website/video podcast I started. Any feedback is appreciated.

After losing their first game of the season at home, the Dallas Cowboys rattled of a string of consecutive wins to catapult themselves near the top of the standings and into national discussion…It’s a description that can be used for both the 2014 and 2016 Dallas Cowboys.

For those that remember, the Cowboys ended up posting a 12-4 record in 2014, tied for best in the league. After losing its season opener against San Francisco, Dallas won their next six games. Demarco Murray set an NFL record with 8 consecutive games of 100 or more rushing yards to start a season. Their quarterback was as efficient as ever, and the defense made plays when needed.

We’re five games into the 2016 season, and literally the exact same storyline is playing out.

Ignore the polls that are dropping all over the country on this. The national media very much wants to drive a wedge into this organization and fan base. They're not loving our great draft, the 4-1 start, and anything positive in Cowboys land, while the Giants are imploding, the Commanders are spinning their hopeless wheels, and the Eagles just suffered a loss.....to the ding-dong Lions.

There is no controversial division here. The scenario is much more simple than discussions suggest. Romo will return, but it will play out naturally and smoothly with no bad feelings or angst among the troops. It simply can't go wrong unless they both get seriously hurt.

They love controversy, destruction and chaos,,, Parcells aptly described them as "communists, subversive from within."

That's the mainstream media business in a nutshell. Ignore them. Always.

Don't eat the cheese, as Parcells would say.

How short of a leash do you give Romo if he plays poorly?

He doesn't have much, if any room for error before they go back to Dak.

I got it NG - excellent work and perhaps the most rational pint of view. Good job and good luck keep on going!

It'll be obvious pretty quickly.

Romo isn't going to go out and suck. He's simply too good of a player for that. I expect him to play very similarly to what we've always seen. He looked good in the short time we saw him in preseason.

This will be determined, I believe, by injury. He'll either get hurt almost right away, or he'll finish the season as the starter. If he finishes really strong, he's your QB one more year. If he's a lesser version of himself and the team doesn't accomplish much, then the discussions will start in the offseason to make the change.

Either way, Dak Prescott looks like he'll be the starting quarterback here for more than a decade.

"Using the formula and majority of their talent from 2014, the Dallas Cowboys are for real this season, and it doesn’t matter who their quarterback is. A problem that 31 other teams wish they had."

Well said.

He hasn't played in quite awhile. He was pretty rusty his first game back in 2014 after not playing for awhile. I don't think he struggles either, but if he does, he doesn't have the time or benefit to figure it out before the pull the plug and go back to Dak.

The offensive line is playing so well, he can work in slowly to get his rhythm. Dak is eating sandwiches in the pocket.

True. I don't have a strong opinion either way. We'll win with either one, just feel that Romo will have a small margin for error if he wants to keep his job.
